Beautiful glasses. We've been looking for lead crystal glasses, but neither my husband nor I like the look of the traditional cuts in the heavy expensive lead crystal glasses. These are a perfect compromise. Good quality, good heft due to the thick base of the glass, but the walls of the glasses themselves are thinner than your normal lead crystal glasses, and the cuts are clean-lined and classy.Obviously these are not your "Waterford crystal" heavy, pass on to your children glasses. But if you are looking for a well-made, well-priced crystal set that is a step above the normal glass barware, these are perfect.Came individually wrapped in paper in a partitioned cardboard box. Box was wrapped in bubble wrap and put in the shipping box.

A friend of mine was in need of some quality crystals for his liquid gold. Having owned my own for a long while I knew I had to stick with quality, so I went with Reed & Barton. These are quality. Don't go for the fake "lead-free bull", crystal is glass made with lead. Quality and strong, will taste how it ought to.Or go for regular glass, but these crystals are worth it. My buddy loved these old fashions

Many visible and random air bubbles in base and sides of all four glasses, including a burst air bubble on one side. Crystal stemware at this price, from this name, should be mostly or totally free of visible air bubbles.

Researched these glasses among several others online at Amazon and other vendors, and finally chose these because they:1. Seemed to be good quality;2. Got the best reviews as compared to reviews of other glasses I researched, and3. The one comment about them doing well in the dishwasher actually sold me.Now that I have them (bought them as a Father's Day gift for my partner) they are great as they:1. Have nice weight in the hand;2. Look classy when empty and filled;3. "Sort of" match the expensive crystal decanter I bought him for his bourbon, and4. They really do okay in the dishwasher.He loves them and tells me so frequently when he drinks out of them which he also does frequently.Good buy.

These Reed & Barton Crystal Double Old Fashion glasses are beautiful. They have a nice weight and balance to the glass. To avoid the cloudy look I recommend hand washing after each use in lieu of using the dishwasher. These glasses make a nice wedding gift.
