No disappointments at all
So glad I discovered this! I've used it to build multiple small 3D printers and it is very solid and works great. No issues with the product at all, I ended up getting a second kit so I could build more printers. That kit came damaged (the case) from shipping but all the parts were fine. I will probably be buying a 3rd by the end of the year.

Excellent and Sturdy
Excellent! Straight excellent. Easy to assemble. I was able to make a gaming console holder for the PS4, Xbox 1 for a unique space. Sturdy and no issues.

Very good kit, but missing parts
The product itself is excellent. However, my kit came with (2) hex nut drivers instead of (1) hex nut driver and (1) hex key driver. I am missing the (1) hex key driver. I would give 5 stars if the kit also came with the corner cubes.

Great for a TinkerSpace
MakerBeam is well engineered and manufactured with precision.I assembled an analytic balance using a 5kg load cell configured to dynamically track mass accumulation of water discharge from percolating column. A science fair project.

I love this stuff
It's 'adult' mechanno. Want to build a robot? This gets you closer faster. At some point you're going to want to weld something, but until that point these extrusions are the way to go: no special grommets to hold in the bolts, just a standard m3 nut; a lot of off the shelf brackets; easy to cut, drill and mark with power tools and, if you do cut it you can tap the ends reasonably easily.
