Jolly Phonics Read and See, Pack 1: in Precursive Letters (British English edition)

so happy to find these books. Great for blending with the lift the flap. Excellent idea. Very engaging when first learning to blend words. Can't recommend enough. My son has read all 12 since buying 2 days ago as he wants to look at the flap to see whether he has got it right. So safe to say a big hit. Most other books are ultra boring.

I bought this for my daughter when she started reception, and it really helped her, especially that at the time she just started to learn english, it was helpful that after she read the word, she could see what the word means; I really recommend this, especially for children who's first language is not english!!don't expect to much, it is a pack of 12 small books, with 1 word and 1 foldable picture in each page, about 8 words per book, but for us it was perfect; I am sure it will help my son too when he will start school :)

my sons have all enjoyed these books whilst learning to read. my only criticism would be that there isn't enough progression. there are a couple of very simple books (I can jump, I can run etc) using very simple cvc words, and then the others take quite a step up. but excellent for variety when used alongside other reading schemes.

My four year old enjoys sounding out and reading the words, I use it in conjunction with the other Jolly phonics products that I have purchased here in amazon as I home educate
