Q: is this color a light ginger red?

Not light, just ginger red. However it did not change my color in the slightest. Even after two apps and max time, nothing!

Q: So in the instructions it says NOT to use on your labia, is this your labia majora, if so what good is it?

I have used this for years..and I am not pristine in how I apply it. I do think if you get it on those more juicy parts it does kind of irritate but for me any way I wouldn't say it's awful, just closer to unpleasant. You do get an application brush similar to the spiral brush on mascara, so it is easy to control the application. I think basically it's a good, safe product.

Q: My hair is naturally red. Can I just use the color and not lighten my hair down there?

I do that, mostly to save time.

Q: I would like a natural human color red-"head" look. Is the auburn a natural color? Has anyone mixed colors to get a natural auburn?

Depending on what your natural hair color is and how long you leave it in. For me This is a real red (the carpet will not match the curtains). I don't know what you could mix it with as the only other colors are sort of "jewel" like - green, blue, purple. I think this product was more of a novelty than anything else. You know kind of like "I've got a sexy secret and nobody will ever know " kind of thing. And I'm not sure if I'd use a regular hair dye 'down there ' but you could probably call the manufacturer. There's always an 800 number in the directions. Good luck.
