This a short book, for a vast subject who deserve better attention. The history of British brands is viewed mainly across their business and marketing approach.Iconography is quite good, that's the strong point of the book.Style is easy to read and funny. The weak points are in the description of the process almost totally overlooked (no mention of crumb for British chocolate, seriously?).Also, some mistakes ( Lehmann roll refiner identified as a conche).I do not think the author knows the making of chocolate very well.If you are a casual reader looking for a pleasant book to read , it will not matter, it's ok for the price. If your interest for the subject is deeper than that, maybe you should look otherwise.
