Metroid Prime Zero Suit Samus 1/6 scale Statue

I purchased the Samus statue in early Aug 2013, When I got this statue I was completely surprised at the quality of this statue. The Samus statue is not made of plastic or PVC. I read that she is made of a poly-stone, but I know for a fact she is solid and has a glossy shine to her and feels stronger that my other porcelain statues.When taking Samus out of the box she comes in two pieces, the base and the statue itself. My opinion this is a good thing. This means that she will not snap off her base if things should ever get rough. She simply slides on and into the groove on her foot and she stays stationary with no problems. The base itself is solid and made of a painted and polished metal and has a real weight to it with her # on the bottom.The base itself is impressive because it adds height to Samus, about 1 inch to an inch and 1/2. The base's height is not shown in the pictures on Amazon. The only thing that some people might notice is her face and hair, these look somewhat different compared to other works of Samus Aran, But for me the problem is overshadowed by how big and shiny this statue.If you are a Metroid fan, I whole heartedly recommend this statue. I was very,very pleased with my purchase

This highly 'American-toy' like Samus Aran has its appeals to be fair, but the problem is, there are much, much better depiction.After looking at this [...] , I seriously cannot praise nor encourage anyone to purchase the one here on Amazon.

Nice statue. Although I paid about double for it its got some nice detail. Im not as big of a fan of First 4 Figure as I am of Gaming heads, but this figure is nice. Its about 10 inches (it's not 1/6th scale) and the base is pretty bulky. The sculpt is good but the paint is pretty bad, especially on the pistol and her hair. The bas also a bit cheap looking as the paint seemed to be smeared.

As stated in the title, there's not much more I can say except that this statue is absolutely stunning. Its very detailed and well made. Looks awesome placed on a desk by your computer, with your collection, or just about anywhere else!Also, don't let the pictures of this product fool you, they do not do it any justice at all, the statue looks infinitely better once you actually see it, and the face doesn't look stupid like in the pictures.

One of the cheaper first4figures statue. Not the biggest or best statue they have made but for the price I would grab this right away. Great for samus/metroid fans
