Beware! This is not pliable and very different from most pond liners.
I have installed about a dozen ponds and worked with lots of liners over the years. This liner is different from any I have used. It is very stiff. Even after sitting in the sun on a 75-degree day for several hours, this liner was still stiff and hard to manipulate. It is much less pliable than quality liners of any thickness. Even 45-mil liners (that is over twice as thick as this 20-mil liner) are much easier to work with. It even felt as if it would split or crack at times. I should return this and still might. There is a reason it is less expensive than others. It is a much inferior product. It will definitely hold water initially but I suspect with seasonal temperature changes that this liner would do well to last a year or two before developing leaks.

Thick and sturdy... Less pliable than the thinner ones.
I bought it for the thickness but was slightly disappointed. It is everything it claims to be. It is thick and the size is 7x10. I am giving it 4 though because it wasn't very user friendly.... I laid it over the hole we dug and centered it. Then began filling it and jumped in to smooth the bottom and sides. The liner was Not pliable so there are spots where it doesn't sit against the hole edge properly. There are spots where the edge has a gap between liner and pre liner and the full water didn't help. Bending or folding was difficult because of its un-pliablenes... And the liner is shiny black on both sides. Nothing wrong with it per se but its harder to cover with gravel or pebbles that slide right off and into the water because the liner is slippery and slick. Once I forced the sucker into shape after considerable stubbornness... It came out good so I am 4 stars satisfied with it.

this liner is very stiff, unflexible
This liner is very inflexible and was punctured easily. To lay the liner in a depression dug into the ground that had a curve to it created huge wrinkles that, because of the stiffness of the product could not easily be folded. The product was also brittle and broke when a rock was dropped on it from only 4-5". repairs were attempted but leaked.

Not for a pond
This is not a pond liner. It is just a thick piece of plastic. This will not hold up for pond conditions and would need to be replaced much much sooner than a real pond liner. You can always return it. But I never have the time because I work 60hrs a week. I could have bought one in the store if I had the time. So I lose out on my refund. And have this plastic that will take up room in my trash to dispose of.

Thicker than most but works for my needs.
I was worried that it was too rigid to mold in my pond especially around the waterfall steps but once you add in all the rocks it works. Also, it will be really durable if my dogs go in the pond.
