Boon Span Dishwasher Net

I love my Span. I am a little OCD when it comes to what goes in the dishwasher and would cringe when I would open it after my husband would load it and find things flipped and filled with water. The Span fixes that! I can put things in that I would normally hand wash because they are too lightweight to stay put in the dishwasher. I have a set of popsicle molds (that look like swords ') they are silicone and super lightweight. I never felt like I could get them as clean I as I wanted by hand washing but they are so thin that I knew they wouldn't make it through the dishwasher. Now they do, and they get super clean. Stinky leftover containers now get a great cleaning and don't flip over! Baby items and kids toys stay put and get a good wash. Plus we just leave it hanging on the top rack when it's not being used so I don't have to worry about finding when I need it. This is a staple in my kitchen now. Everyone should have one! I have a love-hate relationship with my dishwasher. I love that it does the dishes but hate how often it decides to knock a plastic lid down onto the heating element and make my apartment smell like someone blew out 50,000 candles at once. This contraption is genius, it stretches over the entire top shelf and hooks in multiple places to make sure you have no plastics able to escape. The only fault I can find in it was the zip ties to package it were so close to the cover that I knicked one of them with the scissors trying to free it, but really not a big deal as it still works great.

I used this two times so far with good results. I put it on one side of my dishwasher and stretched it about 2/3 of the way down from front to back of the dishwasher. I bought it to hold down about three plastic containers (sandwich size) and lids. I had been weighting down the lids and containers with my regular ceramic bowls so they would not float around during cleaning, but this is much neater and allows me to load up my dishwasher more sensibly. It hooked well onto the bottom or side components of the dishwasher rack and stayed hooked.

This is a wonderful little invention! I got so tired of opening my dishwasher and seeing dirty gross water, sitting in the baby bottles and bowls! It was such a pain re-washing those items and I was going nuts thinking about what to do....then I found this! This is a game changer - no more dirty water in the bottles and now I can put smaller items in that I would have never been able to place in the dishwasher before. I would have given it 5 stars- except that one of the hooks tore in the first week of use. Luckily there are 5 other hooks so it is still quite usable and does its job.

This net is great. We initially had a newer dishwasher with separate spray arms for the top and bottom racks. The bottle and plastic dishes were typically not displaced and something like this was unnecessary. Well, we have since moved into a rental with an old (and loud!) dishwasher that has a single spray arm at the bottom of the machine. The water comes out with such force that every plastic dish or utensil on the top shelf is flipped over and filled with water or falls through to the bottom by the end of the cycle. (And yet the bottom rack dishes do not come out clean, but that's beside the point.) With strategic placement and this dishwasher net all of the plastic dishes come out clean and upside down. Just be careful when placing the net as the plastic hooks hurt if you get snapped by them. I can stretch the net to cover most of the upper rack or any smaller portion of it. It can be hung off the front of the rack between wash cycles for storage; you'll just need to explain it's purpose to your mother-in-law or you might find a mix of bottle parts awkwardly hanging from the net. I've only been using the product for a few weeks but it looks like it will hold up for a long time.

This product has changed my life. I found the product in an article about things that most people don't even know existed. And it was just that, I had NO IDEA this was a real thing and I anxiously awaited its arrival. I have 2 small children and found myself handwashing every plastic piece of kitchenware that we owned, because it would always flip upside down in the dishwasher. (I know, such a burden, huh?) I was loading my dishwasher when the mail woman knocked on my door with the package. I IMMEDIATELY opened this bad boy up and tried it out. To whomever invented this, you're amazing. This has literally changed my life. I had high Hope's for this product and it has absolutely exceeded my expectations. I love everything about this product. Wish I had found one Made in the US. I searched high and low, to no avail. You need this. Buy it! Worth every penny. Hell, I bought 2. It is super stretchy. I managed to cover the entire top rack with just 1 net. I may give the other to another mom, or maybe keep it for a while, in case this one isn't durable enough to last. I haven't decided. I've only had it for a couple of days, used it multiple times already. Not sure of lasting durability. Will update if needed. A must have product, really. I am in love with it.

I'm torn on this product because I really love it and I really hate it. I love it because when it works it definitely keeps all the plastic cups/bottles etc from flipping over and filling with water. I hate it because the net seems to break easily where the hooks are attached. I had to try to find alternate places to clip the hooks onto until there weren't enough left to make it useful. Each part holding a hook has ripped. I haven't even owned this product a year and already need to buy another one. I tried some other options, but I don't think they worked better than this one - I just wish it was more durable.

I never knew such a thing existed and yet now I'm not sure how I lived without it. I have 2 children and this is pretty much the most amazing product I use (its the little things, right?). No more flipped over bottles and sippy cups filled with dirty soapy water! This is made of thick silicone and you can reeeaaalllyy stretch it out for coverage. I've added a photo of my kid-friendly top dishwasher rack set up: two baby dishwasher baskets on one side and then I stretch this net over the rest of the rack. It won't stretch across the entire top rack, but it certainly tackles most of it. I've had this for a few weeks now and use it with every load and it still looks brand new. Very nice quality and this would be a very awesome add-on for a baby shower gift.
