The double wide brush is great on my wrist and the labradoodle's soft silky coat. I've had the matt zapper for years and use it when necessary. This is a better all around brush for large dogs.

A more gentle grooming brush that does a very good job

Works well. I like it a lot. Does what it's supposed to do.

Great Brush for long haired dogs

I have had a set of Activet brushes all my Newfoundland's life (4 years). They are expensive, but they last well and are so flexible my dog loves to be groomed. He snores, I brush, we groom daily. I have a stiffer Activet brush for a mud brush, a mat zapper (doesn't work particularly well that I can see) and an Activet half brush green/gold (smaller and softer) for his head and belly. I've tried rakes, but really this brush seems to get out just as much undercoat with a couple of more strokes, he likes it much more, and the hair doesn't fly around. I also use a very cheap man's pocket comb for little mats, plastic, wish rubber was still available.
