The fable haven series is really good. My kid has really enjoyed this series and was excited for the continued set of books.

I read the reviews before purchasing this series to read with my daughter. We loved Fablehaven and so this was exciting to see. In my opinion all the negative reviews are far too harsh and not worth your time reading. This was a delightful read and we cannot wait to start the next one - we are only on book one so far. The chapters are shorter as is the book compared to Fablehaven but we still loved it all the same. The one negative review that stuck with me talked about (without spoiling the book) what a pathetic weak character Kendra was in this series. I found her to be just as enjoyable as the first series. The reviewer made Seth out to be reckless n dumb but I found their review again so wrong. Seth has a wreckers side but it's Seth. All Fablehaven fans can attest to that. He continued the characters beautifully while helping them grow. A wonderful continuation to Fablehaven and a must read for Mull fans.

Brandon Mull is one of the best authors I've ever read! Love every one of his books, especially the Fablehaven and Dragon Watch series'.I'd recommend them to anyone, (and I often do)!!
