After reading many of the reviews of this product I was a little skeptical of ordering it. When it came today my concerns were unfounded. It was very easy to set up, straps work fine, fits the 8 panel play pen perfectly. I'm using this exclusively for travel so I don't know how it would hold up to everyday use, but for what I need it for I would highly recommend. The bunnys seen to approve too! For 20.00 bucks or so, give it a try.

I bought this to go with the Marshall FC-224 Small Animal Play Pen and am so happy I did. I honestly do even bother to Velcro this to the playpen and it still stays in place (although it could be because I've got carpet in the living room). This thing is a bit pricey when you think that it is literally just a mat (especially on top of the playpen price), but it truly is worth every penny. It's so nice to not have to worry about my ferrets being jerks and using the potty on my carpet! At least with this, it's easy to throw in the shower, wash off and hang up to dry.

It was too small for my play pen when it was fully extended so I use it when i fold it up some. It is well made and easy to clean it keeps my farrets freon digging at my carpet

I got a baby english lop rabbit a couple of weeks ago, and until he's litter box trained i've been keeping him in this pen with the the mat. I was worried that he would be able to dig through it but so far it's been totally resistant to his destructive attempts, and he's BIG. I put a bowl of water in his cage at night so the clicking of the water bottle doesn't keep me up, and when he spills it i can just wipe it right up! When it starts to get gross i just sweep it out and then use some bunny safe cleaner to wipe it out. The biggest plus to this containment system is definitely the ease of cleaning and durability, though i do have to shake the edges of the mat when i clean it because poop gets trapped between the walls of the cage and the edge of the mat. But hey, it's a bunny-proof containment system and i am very satisfied :)

Our ferret was litter trained although he did tend to have small accidents if I didn't scoop his litter every time he used it. When we would travel we'd use this mat under the animal play pen (which it fits wonderfully for!) and set him up in a room. It's great for protecting the floor and stopping my ferret from digging through it or getting under it.My complaint is when my ferret would have an accident- this canvas was so difficult to clean, we practically had to run it completely through the washing machine to get the stain out. It's resistant to absorption at first but after about 10 minutes the soil has absorbed into the fabric. It also gets a weird chemical smell after about a month. Overall I'm glad it exists because I don't know what else we'd use but it's difficult to clean and smells funny.

My bunny, Frac, is a rescue, litter box trained, and he really loves being inside with people. I bought the small animal play pen because I have two large dogs and also Frac likes to chew wires. The pen is in my office so I was using a make-shift plastic shower curtin underneath the pen to protect my rug. Well, he kept pulling the curtin up inside the pen making it necessary to secure it outside. Having to do this every time I cleaned the pen was really time consuming and alot of work. This cover has velcro security strips that keep the liner in place not to mention give the pen a much nicer and neater appearance.I wish I had bought this product sooner as I like going into my office and seeing the nice neat pen with a very happy rabbit inside. He did put it to the test by trying the usual digging to pull the liner inside the pen only this time it didn't work!I would recommend this to anyone using small animal pens.

I purchased this to use at an airbnb so my little carpet sharks could be wild and free yet contained and I could enjoy my vacation without worrying about losing them in a home I was unfamiliar with.It gave me peace of mind and gave them bigger space than their per carrier. If you are buying the gate for this, absolutely get this too! It is worth it!

Goes very well with the Marshall FC-244 play pen. Two of them can serve as top and bottom. Easy to set up. Easy to clean. Helps to make the pen safer and more comfortable for the rabbit. Footing is a bit slippery so I recommend placing chewable grass mats in the mat floor. My rabbit love it. And I know he is happy, healthy, and safe.

I accidentally ordered the wrong size but worked out well as I can use this for ferret shows.

it's what I expected, I bought this set up from someone on kijiji and that one is starting to get some wear and tear. bought this one so we can clean one and still let the ferrets play in another.

I use it for my guinea pigs, and it is easy to clean up their messes afterwards.
