Get some bar & chain oil
I was skeptical at first however, after charging and then assembling and using this unit over a period of five days and having no problems whatsoever, I am sold on this little mighty mite! I had to do spring cutting on limbs as thick as 3.5" on hardwoods and softwoods and this little tool worked flawlessly. I did hit a knot and it bucked and I cut up my little finger. Had I worn heavy leather gloves, this injury would not have occurred. On continuous use, the chain dries out fairly quickly. Adding chain oil solved the problem. I used this little guy for 7 hours without stopping (except for a drink of water) and it lasted as long as I could for a work day. Charged it overnight, blew out the chamber with air, put it together and I worked for another 7 hours without a failure. I am very impressed with this little unit. I would highly recommend.

Nice tool until the chains are used up
The product is as presented but you definitely need to watch a video a few times to put it together since the manual is in Chinenglish. Videos are about making it LOOK easy so you have to play it over to see how to do the tricky part of putting it together. Worked very well the first time taking down a fruit tree and cutting it up. I’m a Senior female handy with tools. But realized that once the chains are dulled, I no longer have a tool. They need to sell REPLACEMENT CHAINS!

It works just fine on small stuff.
I had a little trouble assembling it, but once I figured it out, I was fine. I finally figured out how to loosen the guide pin and then tighten it. I suggest putting the cover on before you tighten it or you will get frustrated trying to hold the chain still. I didn’t try it on anything 3 inches in diameter, but it certainly cut a bunch of small stuff just fine. About the time I was finished, the chain came off, but I’m not terribly worried about that. I put a little bar and chain oil on the chain I used when I put it away. I hope that was the right thing to do! Last thought - FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! (The English was rather pathetic, but you could figure out what they meant. Not surprising when it came from China.)

It’s a SCARY product I would not recommend because I see No Safety Features
There are no safety features, and you need to be hyper aware of this every second you use it. Further, I have a concern that even being hyper aware, whether an accident could happen with a disastrous injury. There is no safety guard between your hand and the chainsaw. There is no double button type safety to activate the chainsaw (meaning it’s subject to accidentally engaging. Using this actually is a scary experience because any momentary distraction, slip, or lapse in judgment would mean serious injury. In all honesty, I don’t think Amazon should sell this! I used this two times and other than a 1970s band saw with zero safety features, I’ve never come across a more potentially dangerous power tool.

mini saw
We got this to trim the branches on our trails through the woods. It cuts very quickly and smoothly. Love the fact that it is battery powered.

Great little tool!
We love this little chainsaw! Easy to use and no kickback. Small enough to be able to maneuver into tighter areas like near a fence or wall and still get the job done.

Perfect size chainsaw
Perfect chainsaw for smaller limbs and trees, not too heavy or cumbersome to use.

Safety switch
! I’m a74 year old female. The saw was just what I wanted. I want to trim bushes and small trees. It is doing a real good job. Two things about the saw concern me. Every chain saw I’ve ever seen needs some kind of oil periodically. Now where in the manual did I ever see a mention of oil. I wouldn’t think it will last long with no oil!!! The other thing was some kind of a safety switch Some way you should be able to turn off.
