Casual Pet Products Kitty Cave, Cheetah 15 x 17 x 15 inches

The "cave" was OK in general, a bit thin in the padding and too small for my large cat, but otherwise there was nothing really wrong with it. I'm going to give it to a friend to see if her cat will give it a go. If you have a small cat that likes to hide, this may be a useful purchase.

This is a perfect hidey-hole for my cat who has just become roommates with a dog I rescued. They were confrontational at first and the cat spent a lot of time under the furniture in a corner. Now, he has a "cave" out in the open, away from the new dog, where he can feel warm, safe, and secure until they decide to become friends which should happen shortly. The cave is light weight but the construction is better than I would have expected. There is enough room inside for my cat to curl up and sleep or just watch things going on around him. The inside is padded for comfort but there is also room to add extra padding for warmth. As I said, good construction, quality materials, simply a good investment for kitty comfort.

I love it! It was hard to find something that doesn't collapse. This holds its shape well. I haven't washed it yet, but it looks pretty easy to machine wash. I'm also very sensitive to smells and this passed my nose check. Lots of pet products have a strong chemical smell that takes a while to go away, and I didn't detect any of that. This would fit a normal size cat or a small dog, like a Chihuahua. My girl is just a kitten, so it's pretty roomy for her. Go ahead and get it! Cats love a private place of their own.

I had one f these before and wanted to get another. This new one does not have the removable foam flooring the older one had. I was surprised to find this was so.

It's perfect. Any cat would fit. I bought it for my shy little chihuahua who loves it. Two can fit inside if they wanted. I put in a baby blanket and she made it her little den. My active Lab mix has tried to play with it, and it held up wonderfully. She usually can chew a hole in something within 5 minutes. This little bed is very tough. She leaves it alone now.

One of my 3 cats is especially jumpy and nervous, and this Kitty Cave provides the perfect place for her to hide out in a protected way while still being able to observe what's happening. She has really taken to it--I often find her inside when I get home from work. I added a small blanket for comfort, but it would probably be ok without that. The material looks nice with living room furniture, which is a bonus.

The material feels a little cheap for how expensive it was.

Nice quality, but too small for my 24 pound cat.
