It is down to the small of my back and underneath the beautiful highlights is corse grey hair, so although up until a few years ago I had smooth shiny hair after a shower, now I need help.This really works from first time. I was using an Xtra Large T-Shirt which was good, but this is just a little better because you can use the "arms" to keep your hair in the back of your head out of the way to further get the moisture out. I confess I wring my hair out in the shower and put on smoothing products and put on the curly tee towel. A very different outcome when using a terry cotton towel to dry my hair.Suggestion- for those of us whose hair is very long and free flowing probably want to cut out the bottom and put a snap or two to re-close once we get over our heads, (like a t-shirt) because it is not easy to put my hair into the one hole. It would be a five star if that was done already for us.

I've tried it three times so far and I'm not impressed. My hair seems to be more frizzy than when I use a T shirt or sweat shirt. I put it on last night, tied the strings and the "wings" and it fell off. For $21, this is ridiculous.Update:The results are a little better, but I have difficulty getting my hair into it without mussing it up. I recommend using a T-shirt or buying cotton jersey fabric and cutting it into a shape that will allow it to be tied. For $21 you'll be able to buy a couple of yards in any color and be able to cut several wraps.Update:The tie fell out and was lost. The opening is not large enough to easily slip over the hair. You can do just as well taking an old pillowcase: hang your head forward, slip the case over your wet hair and then tuck in the bottom of the case behind you.

It is overpriced for what it is, and it is difficult to get all the hair in to the opening. Because it is a tie close, I have to do it for my daughter instead of her doing it herself.

I ordered this because I have curly hair and always plop my hair in the mornings. My curls get really defined when doing so, and wanted to try something different. This looked comfortable and easy to use. It arrived quickly and with a sweet note from the creator. It came with instructions which sounded easy but it was hard to figure out at first. My hair had a hard time going into the hole with the drawstring. Finally I got the hang of it and it was very comfortable. I had it on for an hour or two and took it off, my curls were less defined than plopping with a tshirt. My hair was somewhat dry, but the towel was soaked wet. I hope it dries before the next day for use again. I like it, it's nice but it doesn't create amazing curls or anything.

Been using this for just over a week, and it really does what it claims to do. The package came with a nice little note, like another reviewer stated, which impressed me. When I first opened it up and looked at it, I was a bit baffled. There are instructions and I recommend looking at them, as this isn't your usual 'towel'. My hair is naturally curly and colored, very fine strands, and very dry. After using this wrap to dry instead of a towel, my curls are more defined and my hair definitely is softer and less frizzy. I have to comb through the hair and twist it loosely into a spiral before tucking it into the wrap. My hair is waist length and about 4 inches too long to not scrunch up inside the wrap.The first time I tried it without kind of 'guiding' my hair into the shape I wanted and the ends came out a bit squashed looking. The loose spiral twist fixed that. I can say that is is very comfortable to sleep in and stays on, unlike anything else I've tried.

I'm using it right now for the first time, hair still wet, and I have to say I'm pleased with this product. I won't be able to tell any difference in frizziness since I already use old tees and milkcloths to dry my hair, but I see a difference in time management. Before, I would plop with my milkcloth, then use the bottoms of old tees to wrap around my head to cover any open spots (I have pretty long hair) and to sop up moisture that leaks onto my face. With this, all I needed to do was use my milkcloth to soak up the majority of the moisture, then twist the hair loosely (as a reviewer suggested---it works!) and slid the Curly Tee towel on. The drawstring band fits so well that I don't have leaking on my face and don't need extra cloth to soak it up, a winner for me. This will be replacing my plopping immediately.My only problem is that I really have no need for the weird pseudo-arms of the towel. Really just the sac part and drawstring is all that I need. The pseudo-arms do not add anything for me since I'm not going to wear this outside. It is fun to wear them down around your face and act like an ancient Egyptian though (the XLong one).

LOVEEEEEE! I have tried to look at tutorials and pictures on how to "plop" my hair into regular t-shirts and I was entirely incompetent. This thing can be wrapped in different ways but what I love is that the drawstring adjusts to your comfort and is still secure. I tend to follow the instructions it comes with and just attach the end pieces in the top of my head (vs the picture displayed). I hate blowdrying my hair so I only wash it 2 times a week max with dry shampoo in between as needed since I also hate wet hair and damanging it by putting it up in elastic bands wet. This is so much more comfortable than even a hair turban towel. It is thin enough to lay flat and sleep on comfortably but thick enough to absorb water and stay in place. It took me like 2 months to try it because I thought it would be hard, but it's so easy!
