This starter fit flawlessly with hooker competition hedders on a Ford big block FE 1967 F100.I did not have to clock it as it was spot-on from the box. As a precautionary measure I added several new ground straps, a heat blanket to protect the starter from heat soak. On cranking engine starts instantly ( less than 1 second )Vey impressed on the performance

Seems to be high quality starter, needed mini starter to fit around headers - Had to clock into different position and mechanics had a difficult time lining it up to the flex plate. Attempted to contact seller for hints, no reply. They were no help at all. Finally mechanics got it right and started engages great every time so far. Took far too long. Easy to understand instructions may have saved significant amount of labor.

Fit with the Sanderson headers, so that's good. Car hasn't really been driven, but it starts up every time.

Fit great once clocked it 180 degrees. Starts a high compression 390fe

I tried 3 other starters before this one and this the only one that worked I will buy again

Works awesome and fits like it should.

Starting issues when warm have been completely eliminated with this starter. The old Mercury fires right up now no matter what.

works good but had to grind housing as catching on bell housing mounting bolt base , about 3/116 of an inch other wise would damage mounting flange

This product was purchased to replace a stock starter. To allow clearance for headers.

Starter works great and fit perfect on my 390 FE Ford engine
