Great knife, but I think I'm enjoying my Shun Nikiri more for any task I'd use this for. Still looks good on my block and is useful if I need more than one vegetable knife.

I trust products made in Japan and have had good luck in the past
I eagerly awaited delivery of this Shun Classic Santoku with Granton blade. I trust products made in Japan and have had good luck in the past. So I was extremely disappointed when this knife arrived dull and almost wouldn't cut my test tomatoes. I compared it with to other Santoku knifes, one a Chinese product and the second another Shun Santoku. . Both were obviously better than this one. Is it quality control or.....
