So, after studying every single water flosser on Amazon, this one, based on functions I wanted, was the one I decided on. Then I started reading reviews, and this one seemed pretty bad, so I was disappointed. Strictly based on price, this one seemed to be comparatively way under priced. So many times it has been said that if something seems to be too good to be true, it probably is. And that you get what you pay for. But I decided to give it a chance anyway. Against my better judgement. I was so excited when it came in, so I tried it immediately, as it was to replace my old WaterPik Classic of several years. It was exactly what I wanted. But when I plugged it in and switched it on, it ran for literally one second, then cut off. Could not get it to run at all after that. And to top it off, this thing seemed so light weight, so much lighter than my old WaterPik, that perhaps there was not really a motor in it at all. Strange, huh? I was just about to get back on Amazon's web site to set up the return, as so many other reviewers had done, when I had one last idea. I always save all my old power supplies from various electronic gadgets I have had through time, and remembered I had several of the same voltage as the included power supply. So I tried it. And guess what? It worked!!!! So I ended up not submitting for a return, and continued using my other power supply for about a week. Then I thought, maybe go back and try the original power supply that came with it and see what happens. And guess what? It worked perfectly. So who knows? Maybe something inside it just needed some sort of loosening, and the little bit of difference in my other power supply was just enough to do it. Another week later, still working strong and perfectly. So I can definitely see where other reviewers have been tripped up. Now for the good. There is a light under the on/off switch to let you know it is running, works fine on mine. The pressure control on the wand works perfectly, is a little stiff so you wouldn't move it accidentally, and has very definite detent clicks for each pressure level, with a definite difference in each. It even has a pause setting on the slider to cut the flow. At first the water pressure seemed rather low, but after finally loosening up completely, it is strong enough to blast a hole through the side of your mouth. Well, just exaggerating, but is really great for me. The reservoir is huge, so if you spend a lot of time on each use, you shouldn't have to refill it. Keep in mind, by design, and my preference, there is no lid, so you must empty any remaining water and lower the reservoir back onto the unit when you finish. This IS the lid, for your sanitary reasons, and is easy enough to do. The water tube seems much more flexible and soft compared to complaints about the WaterPik's brittle and short-lived water tubes, myself included. Hopefully I will get a longer life out of this water tube. The motor sounds really strong at this point, but as I said earlier, this unit is pretty light weight compared to others I have used, so not sure if that is a good thing yet as far as durability. Only time will tell. Also, the tips from my old WaterPik Classic fit this, so if any tips happen to break over time, I now have lots of spares. The toothbrush tip is pretty cool, too. Overall, after I got the thing working, I would actually rate it better than the WaterPik Classic, as far as functionality and design. The only thing I would suggest to the manufacturer is to reinforce the rim around the reservoir, as the existing design is quite flexible and could be dropped because of heavy weight from a full reservoir if you held it from each side of the top rim. So the reinforcement would allow you to grip it better. Everything arrived intact and well packaged from Amazon, and the manufacturer, no damage. Very happy with purchase, for now . . .

This product is a real joke. It reminded me of an equipment mock-up - even the weight of the product supports this perception. It looks like the real thing where the lights blink but nothing happens when you twist the knobs, push buttons, or flip switches. This irrigator provided the same perception - insert plug, fill water, press potentially the on/off switch (there is no indication that the unit is actually running) and then, and then, a last gasp somewhat like the dying spurt from the water nozzle. And no matter how you adjust the on/off switch, slide the pressure nozzle, or tap the water reservoir, still nothing but another dying like spit (yes spit). So, stay away, this must be someone's joke.

works good but I think the fact that it has no lid is weird and not very sanity.

Bought this for my son because he has braces and it has done wonders. Def worth purchasing.

Tried everywhere to get replacement nozzles with no joy. So it worked fine until I needed replacements so am having to buy a new Flosser. Poor show.

Just received my flosser and was surprised that there's no lid for the water container ,should have noticed this from the photos .
