I discovered this clip when reading a backpack review on a website, which then mentioned it as an afterthought. It instantly clicked for me. No more collecting germs, dirt and who knows what from public floors, or trying to balance my pack on chairs (or other smooth/rounded surfaces) with just the shoulder straps.My SOC Three Day bag is my do-all pack. Laptop and books on the weekday. My only "luggage" for 3-5 day trips. This clip has a simple and unassuming role, but it does it very well. The clip stays out of the way on the top handle when not needed, and hangs the pack securely when it is - most often on a door. The pack could hang without it on most door knob styles, but some like lever types, could slip off when getting into the pack. This never does. The bonus is everything is raised up to a more comfortable level.It seemed a bit expensive for "just" a unique carabiner clip, but in use that's quickly forgotten. The quality of the components and unobtrusive perfect finish let me believe this is a quality item I can trust. It isn't going to fail anytime soon and break something in the pack.You'll use it more than you think.

What can I say? You can hang this bad boy anywhere, and it can be used to hang nearly anything. Great for travel, work, and play. It's such an excellent piece of EDC. If you're on the fence, go for it.
