When will someone realise that making a pair of left-handed scissors is not just about putting different handles on a pair of right handed ones? In case that doesn't make sense, it's about the way the blades cross over - when you cut, as well as closing the blades you're putting quite a bit of sideways force on the blades. In RH scissors this sideways force pushes the edges tight against each other, making a nice clean cut. If you try to use them LH then you push the blades *apart* - meaning they hardly even cut at all.

there are lots of great reviews for these scissors for people buying them for their children. I wanted small scissors to be able to cut out fiddly material shapes for applique. they fit the left hand well but that is where the good news stops. The biggest issue is that the way the blades are set you cannot see where you are cutting. if you have a line you are trying to follow you cannot as the blades are in the way. Also they do not cut nice and cleanly

A perfect gift for my daughter. She always complained she couldn’t grip her scissors right. Now she has these she has no problems. A comfy grip with a sharp neat cut. Good value for money, I would recommend to any lefties who are in need of a decent pair of left handed scissors.Even with postal strikes I still received them very swiftly.

I purchased two of these packs of scissors, a set each for my 7yr Granddaughter and 8yr Grandson who both have a problem with right handed scissors. They were added to their Christmas gifts and both of them used them in various ways today. My Granddaughter is quite ambidextrous (same as her Mother and myself - it must run in families) therefore we "reminded" her several times that the scissors were left handed, she then swapped hands. Although today she was generally using them to snip and not cut lengths of paper or cut out shapes. They look like they will be successful was Granddaughter and are already a success with Grandson who's a complete lefty!They have soft handles and are a good size for younger children or for adults who require a small pair of scissors for various crafts or yarn projects.

Being left handed I bought these scissors. Have never used before in all my 40yrs but was recommended when buying something else so added to basket to try. Well I have to say these are the sharpest left handed scissors I've ever tried. Been given at school which were blunt and not as good as right handed ones. I use these all the time now and my 3yr old always looks for things for me to cut with mummy's special scissors. Wish I bought long time ago definately recommend
