This stuff doesn't stick. Just turns to powder

It works beautifully for appliqué. Saves me so much time and it stays soft unlike the other fusible web products. I'm going to continue to experiment with all its uses.

It was not clear to me that this glue requires a hot iron to set it. I have used other liquid thread that set itself. It did not work for me. I was trying to fix a zipper.

This is wonderful because the fabric stays soft, unlike so many other products for fusing. Also it's easy to use. I diluted it 60% glue to 40% water and used a 1/4" brush to paint it on the edges of the fabric. Iron sets it. Use the quick release foil.

The bottle I received is NOT Liquid Thread. Says it is, but it's not. It's a fabric glue. I am told by another seller, who is my teacher in a class for art quilting, and world renowned art quilter, that an entire lot was ACCIDENTALLY filled with fabric glue about a year ago. The product watered down is supposed to dry with a powder on the fabric and then when ironed to other fabric, fuses. This dries so what appears to be elmers glue on the fabric. I think you have on of those bad lots. Date of Mfg on my bottle is 2-01-2016 which is around the time this happened according to my teacher. I have asked for a replacement, but if from the same lot will not do me any good. I will then have to ask for a refund. Will update when I get the REAL Liquid Thread.

Following the clear directions the liquid thread worked beautifully.

I wasn't sure that this would work - but to be honest in the months that I have had it - it has produced some great results on repairs that I thought would have been impossible - its not invisible it dries clear and slightly shiny - I did find best results were when I ironed it through grease proof paper - Lets face it a repair is a repair but this has meant that items I would have thrown away can live on for a little longer!

Bought initially to secure tax tabs for uniforms for staff which was a little bit and miss, could have possibly given it 3 stars until -The downfall came when I split my suit pants and tried to use the glue to fix them...Having used the product to varying levels of success with labels I knew how to use it and proceeded to draw a line done the seam and then use an iron to heat the glue. It leaked through the holes in the seam and I now still have split trousers but the real treat is that the glue looks like I have had spunk leak out my arse.So I’m afraid I can’t really recommend this product unless you like having a white sticky patch on your bum.

Works well for the most part but very hit and miss when using on felt. Mostly miss though. Saves me sewing little things and doll clothes. Not sure I want to trust it on seams on real clothes though

rubbish do not buy when the iron went on it it just turned the glue to a powder. it dose not stick at all. wast of money
