This is the BT-1008 model--this lower-level model number likely offers less "juice," mAH. It works well, nonetheless, and is also significantly cheaper. (I don't talk on phones much, anyway.)"Free" and speedy shipping--way better deal than stores, and far easier, too. Save on packaging, hassle, gas, buku $, etc. Stores may not even have a compatible model, nor this number of batteries needed, anyway--and, one has to check, etc. This sort of item, cords, cables, HDMI switchers, etc. always prove way better a purchase on Amazon. Stores always, and stupidly, take advantage of hapless customers--given these sorts of items. Chiding now as a parent may: "Good things come to those who wait!"Geil is a well respected memory chip fabricator brand--especially in the old PC-build days. That did influence my decision. I'm not certain that any such relationship actually exists, though: As so often is the case, PRC-brand and fabrication identification/info is really loose and uncertain. What the heck, though. If this DOAs, suffers infant-death, or otherwise dies too soon (disappoints), I'll report back here. I think not.....

All my phones were pooping out with the old batteries. I purchased the 4 pack and went around and changed the battery pack on all 5 of my phones. I waited a while to see if the new batteries were going to be worthless or not. The new batteries work like a champ and hold a charge like the original batteries did years ago. Too often folks just throw out the old phone system and buy a new one. This was a cheap fix to a common problem. The batteries arrived quick and in good order. I suggest this fix to people all the time.

Great price, batteries fit in the Uniden handsets. We had to return previous orders, where the batteries did not fit.

The seller advertises the product as compatible with Uniden DECT 6.0. This is not untrue, though the original battery is 2.4v, 500mA. The replacements in a pack of 4, are stamped 2.4v, 300mA. They'll certainly work, though the working life will be somewhat shorter. This may not be a problem; it all depends how much time you spend on the phone. They're cheap enough though.
