One star is not low enough
The locking adapter was affixed and given 60 hours to solidify its bond (the instructions require 24) and it snapped off the device while I was connecting the cables to test it.I will be asking for my money back on this. A complete waste of $65 for a glorified piece of metal and 3M tape. Really hoping that the Owl itself is of better quality than the locking adapter.

Not needed
It has no value nor does it help with the function of the speaker. It was a total waste of money . I thought it was an attachment that was needed to support the speaker and or raise the speaker

Shouldn't a built-in security slot be mandatory on a $1000 desk cam?
Rather than Owl just incorporating a Kensington t-bar slot into their $1000 webcam we get the privilege of buying a $50 chunk of pot metal to paste it on to it. Awesome.
