Good for swaddling bigger babies
Its a good blanket for infants but not ideal for swaddling a newborn. As a New 1st time mom, I had no idea what an art swaddling a newborn can be. Infant babies from 0-3 months swaddle much better in a cotton blanket that does not give/stretch; otherwise they will wiggle out of it in no time. It's because of how small they are.This wool blanket is great and once the baby is big enough, it does become a good swaddle blanket. I started to swaddle my baby with this blanket about 4 months for her naps in the swing and it's kept her nice and snuggly while she naps.

To be honest I like it that it's thicker than the merino layer of ...
I was skeptical that how come this is so affordable. But, I guess the reason is keeping it simple: No colorful cotton layer, or wide range of colors. To be honest I like it that it's thicker than the merino layer of the more expensive brands ( Comparing with my merino kids wearable blanket). It's soft enough that my toddler likes to hug it close to her face. I started to use it as an extra layer in winter, and by the second night it became like a lovie for my toddler.

This was an excellent purchase, I am so pleased with the quality. I wanted something large enough to swaddle my newborn and I didn't want a bulky blanket. This is a super soft blanket that will really last (as it is so large). I have already washed it once and it still looks great. I wish there were more colors, but other than that, can't complain.

Lovely blanket but if you're sensitive to wool then even this will feel itchy.

Not good for cold
Useless, did not keep any warmth, his temperature fell down to 97.3 during night (from 98.6) despite many layers, with this being close to skin.

It's very soft and elastic
I love this baby blanket , it's very soft and very elastic. My baby loves it... it's really big enough for baby pram , baby crib and it's big enough for to wrap baby :) just brilliant!
