Well made. Tight, secure lid. Works well for storing loose tea when I travel.

These containers arrived in a timely fashion in perfect condition. I ordered multiple, as I like to make up snacks and meals in bulk and freeze them in serving size portions. These are perfect for this purpose, as well as to take to work or school. If you intend to freeze portions, as I do, bear in mind that water expands when frozen, making a substantial difference in foods that contain a high water content, such as fruits or vegetables. Since the portions I freeze are approximately 1/2 to 3/4 cup portions, the 1 cup capacity of these containers is perfect, since it allows extra room for this expansion. These containers are ideal for anyone trying to move away from the use of plastics in their food preparation, and more than pay for themselves, when you consider the cost of plastic food storage bags, if that's what you are replacing.

This works well for cleaning retainers, but would be better if it had a tight water seal, ie screw top.

We made the switch to using reusable containers for my kids lunches 2 years ago - we have several To-Go Ware containers along with LunchBot containers. What we have found is that the lids on these will occasionally get jammed somehow where it takes a herculean effort to release the lid. My kids have had to ask a teacher to open it for them and, on occasion, the teacher has been unable to get it open. When my kids first started reporting this problem I was a bit skeptical until one came back home still sealed and it took me 10 min to open it up (I ended up banging it on a counter). There is no lip that you can use to gain purchase when you are trying to pull these open.We have gone with the  LunchBots Rounds Stainless Steel Leak-Proof Food Container Set, 8-Ounce and 16-Ounce , they are more expensive, but they don't seem to have a problem with the lids getting stuck.Other than the lid issue the size of the Large is perfect for apple slices and other side dishes for lunch.

I wanted a dog snack holder that didn't look like tupper ware to carry in my purse and thought these looked cute. And they do look nice, just a pain to open quickly and take snacks out. I wish they either had a hinge or that the lid screwed on. I guess they are good for carrying food that you are going to eat at a table or while sitting but to be on the go and having to hold on to the bottom on one hand and the lid on the other makes it a little hard to get whatever is inside and if your hands are holding other things, like a leash, its hard to get a good grip to pull the lid off.

I collect stainless steel kitchenware and this is the highest quality stainless steel kitchen container I have found. It has a significantly more functional seal without any gaskets, and I feel confident putting my ingredients in this container, not hot liquids, but any dry or soft ingredients.This product is incredibly consistent in its quality, workmanship, effectiveness, elegance, ease-of-use, and practicality.It lost a star due to price. I pre-pack my food for a week and needed five. I think there should be a discount for larger quantities even 5 to 10.

Does the job well, great quality

I bought two of these. On one the lid fit perfectly and is easy to put on and take off, on the other you have to line it up just right for the lid to go on. The one that the lid needs to be lined up perfectly is still usable, but it's annoying to have to struggle that way, so I have to conclude these definitely could have been better made. This company seriously needs some quality control. If they got that then they would have a nice product.
