I love all the options (gel, acrylic, NextGen, etc.) at my local salon, but after a while my nails need a break from all those chemicals, filing, and acetone. This product isn't a polish, it's a completely liquid hardener that soaks into your nails. It isn't an instant miracle cure for weak or brittle nails, but it definitely makes a difference!After removing salon finishes, I apply this hardener to my dry natural nails. The first coat immediately soaks right in---it looks like I didn't do anything. Second coat absorbs more slowly. Third coat usually leaves a little extra around my nail bed and I rub that into my cuticles. When I'm home, I re-apply later and before bed. If I'm going out, I finish with a clear nail polish (but that has to be removed later or you can't apply more of the hardener).This product is way more effective for me than regular clearcoats.
