Dental Mirror - See All Sides of The Teeth!

The sewing machine that I have, a Bernina 830, has a difficult bobbin installation mechanism. In order to do it well, one needs a dental mirror. Over time the original one that came with the machine had gotten so scratched that it became useless and thus I bought this replacement. I am so happy with it. Not just is the handle slip proof, but the mirrors is made from actual glass which has a bit more resistance against scratching quite so easily.

The 5cm size mirror makes it easy to see the backs, fronts, sides and top of the teeth...close-up. The instrument feels sturdy and well-built.I found a tiny cavity between my teeth that x-rays and my dentist missed. She was amazed! The mirror is well constructed and easy toclean. And yes, it does steam (condensation) up a little if the mirror is quite cold. If that happens I rinse the back of the mirror with a littlewarm water and that takes care of it.

Insurance rates have gone through the roof in this last year; try finding Dental Insurance in NYC -- unless you make six-figures a year or work for a really stellar company, Dental Insurance in this city is a joke.I should have ordered a larger mirror, but it's fine for what it is!

The mirror is perfect, but that doesn't help me see "all sides of the teeth". Very hard to get sufficient lighting in the mouth, adjust the dental mirror so you can see it in your bathroom mirror, and still get the correct angle to view the tooth area. Better left for a dentist! There is nothing at all wrong with the mirror itself so it deserves 5 stars.

When i received my dental mirror it was what i had ordered but the mirror had a small chip in the glass / mirror on the edge. The cost was fairly cheap so i decided not to return the item.

I ordered this because my tooth felt funny. This mirror showed me I had a big giant hole in my wisdom tooth, which led to a dentist visit where it was recommended that I have all four wisdom teeth out. A couple of oral surgeon visits, some expensive sedatives, and a couple weeks of liquid food later, I no longer have to deal with difficult to clean wisdom teeth.

Good for the price, but the mirror head a little small

The mirror was so small, I couldn't see anything. Also, it fogs badly. I have a chipped tooth way in the back of my mouth and thought I could see if it was as bad as it feels, before I made an appointment with my dentist. Seems like a professional tool, so I was surprised it did not work well.
