the top is for salad dressing but the lid to the green bubble for the dressing does not close. but the bowl it's self is great for salad.

I had three of these bowls that I purchased from sweetgreen restaurant a decade or more ago. I loved them for packing salads for lunch. Sadly, after many years, the dressing compartment started leaking when I would press it to deploy the dressing. So I got four new ones.The new ones are good and sturdy, but they are harder to use than my originals. The salad dressing compartment is difficult to close, as the cap doesn’t fit smoothly over the opening. It is also difficult to get it to pop open when I press on the top, as the poor fit of the cap means that the cap is too tight when closed.The salad bowl is the perfect size for a lunch portion, but the lid is difficult to remove. I have to hold the bowl against my belly to get enough leverage to pull the lid up, and I’m concerned that I’m going to end up with salad all over me and the floor.All in all, I love the design. I just wish the execution were better.

To small vs the pic showed a bigger size with a green lid top bowl, I rec'd a blue lid bowl and small I wanted to return it but the husband said he'll keep!!!!

It's not reliable lid for dressing

This was just what I was looking for. The 40 oz was smaller than I expected but that was not the fault of the product. The one dislike I had was that the lid, while fitting securely, was difficult to remove holding the bowl straight. I had to hold the bowl against myself and tug on the lid. The idea and price were just what I was looking for.

The bowl is a good size for a hearty lunch salad. The dressing bulb is also sizable so if you like a lot of dressing on your salad, this will hold a decent amount. The lid snaps on securely though I'd be careful not to jostle the bowl around too much or jerk the bag it's in too violently (for peace of mind I just adhere a small strip of clear packing tape to the sides - have never had the contents spill out on me).

I like it, but it was not what I had expected.

This is very very poor product that came broken and the parts didn't fit properly. I threw it away.

Awesome product...love it, use it everyday. Hopefully it will last a while
