I am almost finished my first bottle which lasted a year. I wash my hair every 3-4 days. It is fine hair and this does not weigh it down. Makes my hair soft and manageable. I bought a second bottle. The pump on the first bottle broke right away so I have had to unscrew the top and pour it onto my hands. I hope the 2nd bottle pump works better. Recommend for fine, damaged hair. It has a light scent that goes away once hair is rinsed off.

I have long thick hair that has gotten more frizzy and uncooperative as I age. It also didn't help that I started coloring my hair about 3 years ago to cover the grays. Since I started coloring, I've bought a tried all sorts of shampoos and conditioners--from the super expensive ($75/bottle from the salon) to the very inexpensive ($5/bottle from Target) to the specialized, non-detergent/no-wash (available only via internet) shampoos and conditioners. Some were better than others, and many were totally not worth the price. I got a sample of Sachajuan's Hair Repair from Sephora a year ago. As someone very sensitive to scents, I did not like the very distinct, almost medicinal smell at first. I'd describe it as an almost menthol or tea tree oil and cinnamon scent. But this stuff WORKS. I wash and condition my hair every 3-4 days, and I'll use hair repair in place of conditioner about every 3rd wash. I can tell a difference between this and my regular conditioner. Both leave my hair soft. The conditioner makes my hair easier to brush through, even when wet (less tangled?), but I think it's because my hair is slightly coated, and it feels heavier than when I condition with Hair Repair. Hair Repair makes my hair feel light and clean--not coated. Once dried, my hair feels lighter and even softer, though slightly more prone to flyaways. It makes for PERFECT styling and softness by day 2, and I can go longer between washes when I've used this. It made such a noticeable difference that I continued using this for a year, and I now love it as a "treatment." I've even gotten used to the scent and now associate it with CLEAN hair. My husband likes the smell, too. It's pricey if you intend to use this every wash, but totally worth it as a hair treatment.
