Short and insightful
Not like these really long-winded and repetitive self-help books. I liked it very much because it is concise, practical and speaks close to the heart.

Helping us help our children thrive!
As a proffessional ‘creative’ and mother of an 18 month old boy, this was a very interesting and helpful read as my little one starts showing signs that he has a creative and ‘sensitive’ personality. Saying that, I actually think that this would be a useful resource for all parents, carers and teachers of boys in general, regardless of whether you think them ‘sensitive’. The point is that sensitivity is an essential part of all human personality and too often boys and men are told to suppress or ignore it. I’m determined to try and help our little one navigate these parts of his personality and humanity and thrive. This will be very useful to keep dipping into again and again as he grows. Well written, backed up with fact and real-life stories - very interesting!

Excellent Guide for Sensitive Kids
Easy quick read and a great way to get both parents on the same perspective when raising a sensitive child. I dropped down a star because being a parent of a sensitive boy and girl, this book really doesn't need to be gender specific. The majority of the techniques are applicable to both genders. I would recommend to the editor to have a gender specific section in each chapter and not specify one gender over the other in the title. I also want to mention, we did have some taunting issues from our daughter when she read the book title and immediately affiliated the gender specific label "sensitive boy" to our son.
