Je ne suis pas vegan (plutôt un hybride devenu prudent).Mais étant exposé à différents problèmes importants de santé chez d'autres, je fais bien plus attention qu'avant à l'environnement dans lequel nous sommes obligés de vivre (j'ai un enfant oncologue clinicien comme son partenaire; l'amélioration continue des soins ne compensera pas toujours la croissance des facteurs de risque, donc il faut réagir nous-mêmes).Ce livre est très bien organisé, bien écrit, varié, avec des recettes riches et faciles à mettre en oeuvre.Evidemment, ce n'est pas aussi rapide qu'un steak grillé pomme frites au ketchup.Mais une excellente initiation, un guide d'ingrédients et une référence récurrente.Il existe en anglais et en néerlandais (ma compagne l'a en néerlandais)."Oh she glows ! Les recettes : Plus de 100 recettes véganes, qui vous feront rayonner de l'intérieur" existe aussi en français sur Amazon.frn'hésitez pas une seconde. Je l'ai acheté comme cadeau de Noël. Je n'avais pas vu alors qu'il existait en français!

I love it!
I wasn't into this vegan thing until I buy this book, she explains all the recipes in order to make you understand how can you improve the taste of a meal adding one or other ingredient. I love all the recipes, the pictures and all the tips included. Great if you're a beginner in the vegan life.

BEST COOKBOOK YOU WILL EVER BUY
I have had this cookbook for 6 months and WOW. I have made over half the recipes and EVERY SINGLE ONE is delicious. I cook for my meat-loving boyfriend and he has liked every dish so far (even though he was skeptical). In fact, he commented that he always feels full but never bloated, lethargic, or heavy after eating them. I gave this cookbook to 5 different people at Christmas from my broke student sister, my very busy lawyer sister-in-law, my friend who lives off frozen dinners, and my VERY talented & avid cook mother. All of them gave rave reviews and for many different reasons.WHY THIS BOOK IS DIFFERENT1) EASY - Straightforward recipes. Easy to follow steps. Yet complex delicious meals are the result! Even if you think you can't cook, if you can read, you can make these recipes! No fancy equipment or cooking techniques required!2) CONVENIENT - Every recipe is quick (with maybe a few exceptions that require some oven time or prep time) Also, a handful of recipes call for nuts to be soaked (but even then, there is a quick-soak method). I also personally choose to make all my own beans from scratch, but the recipes include amounts for both dried and canned beans.3) NO SPECIALTY INGREDIENTS - Most vegan/gluten free/vegetarian cook books I have use a LOT of unique, specialty, or replacement ingredients. They are expensive and not always easy to find. There are very few used in this book. There are a couple (like vegan mayonnaise and vegan cheese- but I found these at the grocery store. Plus if you're not 100% vegan then regular mayo or cheese will do) It also calls for coconut oil sometimes, but again, any oil you have will work. I personally had to stock up on nuts and beans, and get nutritional yeast, but that's about it. Everything else, for the most part, is stock ingredients and fresh fruits/veggies.Anyways, I am usually too lazy to write reviews but this is the best cook book I own. The pictures are also beautiful AND helpful in showing you what you're making! And every recipe shows you what dietary categories it is good for (ie soy free, nut free, gluten free, sugar free, etc). Every recipe is gluten free also, or gives the gluten free option. My only problem now is that I am let down by every other cookbook I buy!
