Endless number of uses and applications
I find myself using these more and more the longer I own them and experiment with them.As other reviewers have mentioned, these are fantastic for any bakers or cooks that need to use small amounts of spices or other ingredients when cooking. I used to use small Pyrex bowls for this purpose, but these are much easier to use, clean, and store. Plus they do not break or chip and the malleable form allows me to transfer the contents in a controlled manner to even the smallest of containers - such as spices into a salad dressing cruet, garlic into the food processor, baking soda and powder into the stand mixer, etc. Whenever you need to use precisely measured ingredients in a hurry these bowls are essential.I use them for lots of other purposes as well. When baking or cooking I mix all my spices together in them to make sure the mixture is uniform which is especially handy when you need to sprinkle the mix on top before baking or serving. I also break my eggs individually into them to make sure no shells or deformed yolks are present before adding to my batter. When I need to dissolve an ingredient, such as baking soda in water when making quick breads or garlic/onion powder in water or broth to make sure they do not form any lumps, strong spices like ground ginger or cayenne pepper in a liquid to make sure it distributes evenly throughout the dish, or even proof a small amount of yeast these bowls are absolutely perfect for the task. The rounded shape and flexible sides also make them a great, low mess way to coat, dip, or roll smaller items in spices, powdered sugar, sprinkles, seeds, or small quantities of anything. Round items, like cookies or truffles work especially well in these containers. I also use them when I need to customize, color, or flavor batches of ingredients, such as frosting, mayonnaise, butter, sugar, melted chocolate, etc.I also use them for portion control and easy rough measuring of things like dips, mayonnaise, dressing, sauces, chutneys, melted chocolate, dipping oils, sour cream, whipped cream, etc. They hold about two tablespoons and are much, much easier to use and clean than measuring spoons when you do not need exact measurements. The small size of the bowls also makes the quantity seem much more than the same amount in a larger bowl or on a plate which is very helpful for dieters.

Tiny, cute, functional Pinch Bowls
I just love their aesthetic. They're pinch bowls or even tiny -- don't eat the whole bag in one day-- snack bowls. I like their flexibility too, so that if you need to pour a little something into a narrow opening you can pinch and pour. They're great.

Tiny Treasure 😍
I recently purchased the Silicone Mini Pinch Bowls, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. Their small and cute design makes them perfect for various uses, from the kitchen to organizing board game pieces. My favorite is the blue one, adding a touch of personal flair to my collection. The silicone material feels soft and smooth, enhancing the overall experience of using these bowls. Whether I’m cooking or gaming, they’ve become an indispensable part of my home.

Holds Some Odors
Awesome little pinch cups, especially given the low price (paid $6.91 for mine). I measured mine: one bowl holds 3 tablespoons or 50 milliliters by volume. Some other stats per Norpro's packaging:* Flexible silicon is heat resistant to 500°F/260°C.* Ideal for staging ingredients or serving condiments.* Pinch to funnel ingredients.* Does not retain odor or taste.* Dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe.* FDA approved.* Holds 1.75 oz each.Regardless of what Norpro says, these bowls do hold some odors. I minced some garlic and held it in one of these bowls for about 30 minutes. I hand-washed the bowl with hot soapy water and then held it to my nose. I could still smell the garlic. I washed the bowl again and let it dry. The next day a faint odor of garlic was still detectable. I've had the same experience with other pungent ingredients such as smoked paprika.Hope that helps :)

Wonderful little bowls
I spent way too much time looking through all the silicone pinch bowls on Amazon before deciding on these. I’m glad I did. my criteria were: Durability, enough thickness to hold liquids and their shape, and stability. Many of the cheaper ones were so thin as to be translucent, and most seemed super tippy, even some with rounded bottoms(!)Mine came heavily squished in the package, but immediately regained their shape. They were thick enough that I could fill almost ⅔ full with water and not pinch-spill from picking them up, and when I bumped them over, they usually self-right, but even if not, don’t fall so far over that everything is going to come flying out. Something this tiny though, if you knock it over, there will be spillage. It’s unavoidable. Especially with liquids. It must be noted because people buy without looking at descriptions: These guys are TINY (see photos). They hold around 1.25oz, and are made for mise en place spices or holding a few dollops of condiments. They are flexible, you pinch them to pour. Hence, pinch bowls. If you try to serve baby or pet food in these, all you’re going to get is a mess and hopefully a funny video. Also these pass the silicone stretch test. I stretched, no white band. That says pure silicone. My only gripes are:1. Remnants of dry ingredients will stick to them. That is just a quirk of silicone, not a problem with the product. It’s not enough to throw off a recipe, and a 5 second rinse will clean them out. If that bothers you, go with glass or stainless steel.2. The colors. Every product on Amazon only comes in an assortment of bizarre colors, most of which are terrible. I would have preferred a single color option, but at least these are in standard kitchen color coding, so I’m happy with that. All in all, these are exactly what I needed, though there are much cheaper ones out there, I’ll probably be buying two more sets of these.
