Not worth it. The photo looks think and plump. Actually very thin in actual physical.

Comforter is very good weight and soft. You feel very snuggly and warm.Would buy again!

I am so happy with this comforter set. I've been searching high and low for a jersey t-shirt comforter to replace (or at least rotate in with) my much loved jersey comforter that I've had for at least 5 yrs. 5-6 yrs ago (maybe more) jersey t-shirt fabric comforters were everywhere & super easy to find.Had I known they would end up near extinction due to the influx of microfiber fabric overtaking the bedding industry, I would have squirrel-ed away a spare for future use.But a Nostradamus of bedding I am not. So when I was generously given the opportunity to review this, I could hardly wait for it to arrive and I was not disappointed.It really is the jersey t-shirt knit fabric I've been searching for. The comforter is flatter/less lofty than my old one but that's not a bad thing. It's great as is but I anticipate that in time, after extensive use, laundering and much love, it will end up being as soft and squishy as my original jersey comforter.The comforter and pillow cases come rolled up in a drawstring bag of the same material. And once you remove this sushi roll of softness from that bag, you will find there is a sleeve of the same fabric keeping everything in place until the time is right to unfurl your very own cocoon of cozy.The pillow cases are super stretchy so they can easily accommodate larger pillows. They have the flap at the end to pull over the pillow inside to keep it in place. That flap is pretty much useless as the case ends up stretching out to the point where it doesn't stay on the pillow. This is not meant to imply poor quality or construction, this is how jersey t-shirt fabric is. This is exactly how your favorite t-shirt becomes your favorite t-shirt...It gets broken in. The same thing happens when that fabric is used for bedding. And that's a beautiful thing.The grey color is so nice. It's not that school-issued gym uniform grey sweatpants color either. It's a modern, stylish heathered grey color that's both gender and age neutral.I couldn't be happier with this set...I feel like I found a treasure in a sea of bedding made from unnatural feeling microfiber.Oh...and I got a free scarf too! J/K kinda....Because it was open at both ends, I took that sleeve of fabric that was wrapped around comforter and now wear it like an infinity scarf around my neck when I'm sitting at my desk. It's soft and not itchy like my actual winter scarf so it is comfortable enough to wear all day to keep the chill off my neck. Honestly, I wasn’t completely sure about this comforter at first. It came in this very small, tightly packed packaging so I was expecting disappointment and feeling it for the first time I wasn’t very impressed. But after a quick wash, I realized it was soft, comfortable and lightweight, but cozy enough to keep warm on cooler nights as well. The pillowcases are a slight downside as they have a zipper on the side and when trying to stuff a larger pillow in, it’s a tight squeeze and I was scared that the zipper would break. But the comforter is definitely worth it. Especially since I’ve seen comforters cost much more but feel uncomfortable. And with the pillowcases, it was easy to find other ones that matched well with this comforter so it wasn’t an issue.Update:I have had this for 3 years now and is probably the best purchase I’ve made on Amazon so I thought I should change my 4 stars to 5 stars. My initial doubts about it not lasting for long were definitely proven wrong since this thing has been through a lot with all the use and getting dragged around for the past few years. This comforter has spoiled me for any others and I haven’t been able to comfortably use any of my other blankets in so long. Even when I have to wash it, I turn into a child separated from their favorite blankie, hovering around the laundry room waiting for it to get done. It has gotten me through some pretty cold winters and some hot summers so all in all, it’s the perfect comforter. I wouldn’t hesitate to immediately buy another one if anything ever happens to the one I have.
