Great kitchen tool
If you use loose tea to brew your tea this is a helper very easy to use and we just rinse it under running water when we are finished. Tea is nice and hot. You can also use it for iced tea just let it cool down and then add ice and whatever else you like in your iced tea.

One year in, working fine
There are lots of teapots like this on the market, but I mainly chose this one for its measurements printed on the side. It's very helpful and honestly baffling that other products of this kind do not have this feature. Anyway, it works as intended, the printed measurements have not faded off, and leaking has not become an issue despite regular daily use for over a year. The only consideration you might want to have is to make sure whatever cups you plan on using with this aren't too wide for the bottom dispenser plate, though they've have to be pretty wide to not fit under it.

These are a must for those who love loose tea
David's makes a lot of teaware, but this is their best item. Tea balls are fine, but they aren't very good for teas that expand a lot (like oolong, which gets HUGE) and you can't really stir the tea to get all of the bit dissolved (for teas that have chocolate, etc.) This solves those issues, and is big enough to fill a 16 oz mug if you fill it all the way. And it lets the tea really expand and move around. I think you get a lot more flavour out of it. It's ideal for oolong and pu-erh if you want to resteep and I often use it to brew two smaller cups for my spouse and I, which is not easy to do with a tea ball. To pour the tea, you just put the steeper on top of your mug and let it run out the bottom. If you drink a lot of tea, cleaning between cups is as simple as using a small spoon or scraper to push the old tea into your green bin, then I fill and swish with water from the sink. For a more serious cleaning, you can scrub the inside and run some vinegar or bleach through. I had one for over 2 years and my spouse and I used it several times a day before it got a crack in the base. I'd say that's pretty good for a plastic pot, because we used the heck out of that thing. I use it for black, green, oolong, fruit and flavoured teas.
