Doesn't come close to the older Oregon file books :(
I excitedly pre-ordered this book, looking forward to another great adventure with Juan Cabrillo and his team. However this book was so boring !!!!I find that the books written by Boyd Morrison are lacking adventure and excitement, I was so disappointed by this book especially since it was the last Clive Cussler book before his unfortunate passing. The Oregon files was my favorite book series as they were filled with plot twists, surprises and unpredictable scenarios. This book was so predictable that I barely wanted to turn the next page. I actually wanted to stop reading it several times but I figured I should finish it to give Clive the benefit of the doubt. At the end of the day it was a complete failure in terms of keeping the Oregon files and Clive Cussler alive.

Typical Oregon plot, but not quite up to the last few books Cussler co-authored
I have read every Cussler book, and his unfortunate passing in Feb 2020 was mourned as he was a go-to author who (almost) always delivered great stories. This is another in the Oregon series, back with Boyd Morrison. It's a bit of a far-fetched plot, involving a nerve gas that has an antidote whose primary ingredient is a nut grown only on Christmas Island, and there's lots of last-second timing in the narrative. I enjoyed reading Marauder, but it's not as good as a couple of Cussler's last few books, which were standouts. Still, this is worth reading, and fans of the series will not be disappointed.

It continues the adventures of Juan Cabrillo and his crew of mercenaries
What I like about Marauder is that it is the next book in the Oregon Files series after Final Option. It continues the adventures of Juan Cabrillo and his crew of mercenaries. I don't know what happens after Marauder, I did some searching on the web and nothing much came up. Now I have read all the books in this series and I have enjoyed it.

Very good action thriller.
A typical Clive Cussler action novel even though it was written by Boyd Morrison. B. Morrison will surely be able tocontinue writing "The Oregon files" series as he was co-writer on many of these novels. He knows the personnagesand the late Clive Cussler writing style.

Excellent book.
Just another great Clive Cussler novel added to my collection. Always great reading. Never was much for reading until I bought my first Cussler book, now I read everyday. Well worth the money.
