Purchased 2 in USA prior to travel overseas last year; satisfied with this product! I only use it to charge my cell phones, ear buds, and Chromebook, and laptops.

Long overdue review. Gonna keep it short and sweet to help those who were in my position 2 months ago. Got this 2 months ago. Moved from the USA to the UK. Wanted to use it a few times before I reviewed. I read the reviews carefully before purchasing. I wanted something for my flat iron mainly. Works well surprisingly. I have a Remington. I WILL say, the flat iron turns on and off (on its own) when plugged into this. I guess something with the voltage isn’t compatible but works well when on. Gets hot enough to do the job. I plug my US flat iron, laptop charger, lamp, and HOT COMB all into this!!! I got SOMETHING ELSE for my blow dryer because I read the reviews and didn’t wanna chance it. Works well for low voltage items and works well enough for my hair products. Comes with 5 wall plugs for many countries. Light weight. Very satisfied. If my review helped you, thumbs it up below !!

I bought this item from Amazon in the USA for use on vacation in Europe. The item cannot be tested in the USA because of the plug. When I got to Portugal (which is a country in Europe which the Amazon chat person did not understand that PT is in Europe) the step down converter will not work at all. I contacted customer support and they offered to give me an $18.00 credit. When I explained that I will return the item when I return to America, they said that because I took the item out of the USA, that I must assume responsibility for it not working!!! Stated in their fine print somewhere. Also, they will not accept me shipping it back from Portugal. So beware of that clause when purchasing something intended for travel from Amazon.

I bought this in 2020 for my trip to Turkey in December. I had no idea if it would work especially with all the reviews the it fried hair appliances. I have a pretty decent hair straightener so I didn’t want to take any chances so I bought a less expensive hair straightener specifically for my trip. I got the Vanessa hair straightener to take with me from Amazon and it worked. Ladies, you know if you use a hair straightener, you depend on it. I will say that it did make a buzzing noise as I used my straightener but, whatever-it worked. I also charged my iPhone 12, my iwatch series 3, my JBL, my iPad, and my anker portable chargers. I did not use a blower as the hotel had a blower. So, this was my experience and I plan on taking it with me to next Turkey trip.

this is literally the most biggest waste of $40 I have ever spent on anything. It says clearly and right on the page “works with hair dryers, straightners and hot brushes.” TOTAL LIE! I am in the first day of my study abroad program in England, and the first day that I use it for my hot brush, it OVERLOADS! Doesn’t transform, nor convert, or ANYTHING. Total garbage product, it doesn’t hold the power it says it does. DO NOT BUY if you are using anything that has a heat and cooling setting.

This was purchased for a recent trip to Ireland. I was concerned that, although my Apple products are dual voltage and could have used just an adapter, I wanted to be able to charge my external battery, camera, headphones, etc. This was a stellar investment. It worked well, the small hum it created was perfect white noise for sleeping, has 3 traditional plugs and 4 USB outlets. With 3 different style plug adapters, I expect I could use this for almost every trip I will ever take. I will use this for domestic, as well as, international travel from now on.I am so glad that I spent the extra money on a true converter and did not rely on an adapter.
