Great taste, great noodles.
I was cautiously optimistic about these noodles. I've eaten ramen noodles (maruchan) for most of my childhood and well into my adult life. I love asian noodles.I also love the dance scene and was kinda scratching my head when The Kinjaz announced they were coming out with noodles. But being a fan of the dance group and the food group, I was quick to order these as soon as they popped up.Verdict? They're good! They're a bit spicy for people like my wife who don't like spicy foods, but for me it was the perfect amount of spice. I'm hoping they come out with different flavors in the future. These are easy to make and the consistency of the noodles is perfect. My only minor complaint is that I wanted more! It's a good serving size but I gotta tell myself not to make two packs for myself.

Pretty good for Vegan ramen
As a college student, it's just one of those quick and easy meals I pop right into the microwave. I've recently gone vegetarian for personal reasons and was missing ramen dearly. The reason I chose this brand over various other kinds is because this one does not contain fish. (However, it is made in a place that processes fish but I'm personally fine with that.)The ramen itself is a bit bland in flavor for me, but I put some all purpose seasoning in it which fixed the issue. It also does have a little background spicy-ness to it which is nice (very mild). It does come with a lot of plastic packaging (The ramen was wrapped separately from veggies and sauce packet, all in one container which was wrapped on the outside.) which gives it a very clean and professional feel to it, but for someone who is a little environmentally conscious, it seems like over kill.To summarize my thoughts a bit: If you're vegan or a vegetarian avoiding fish this is not a bad one to go with. It's a bit bland, but so are most vegetable things. I believe it was a decent bargain, not as cheap as Top Ramen or Maru-Chan but it looks more professional and clean since it actually comes in it's own bowl.

Genuinely very good, easy lunch!
I typically do not buy branded merchandise for unrelated products. I am not interested in my favourite band producing a breakfast cereal and I would be hesitant to buy noodles even by a beloved dance group. However, I also happen to be particularly fond of all varieties of instant noodles, from ramen or soup cups, and I admit the description on this one sounded pretty appealing. It's not 'top ramen cheap' but at $20 for six they are a very reasonable price for lunch, especially since it definitely doesn't taste like the kind of meal that just takes 4 minutes and a microwave to prepare. No joke, these are really good noodles. The sauce is great, a bit of heat but not really spicy. It seems to be a sesame oil base with some chile to punch it up. The vegetable packet has actual good variety of flavours in it (not just some sad crusty carrots). In fact, one of the only negative things I can say about it is that you lose a lot of them when you drain the water if you're not strategic about it! I'm guilty of adding extra stuff to the noodles, but they are a really quality lunch straight out of the box.My only real complaint is the extra plastic packaging. The box and the individual meals are wrapped in cardboard, but both the noodle brick itself and the tray it is inside of are wrapped in plastic. It seems unnecessary to have both. As someone who tries to be mindful of plastic waste, I wish they would find a way to cut down on the amount used here or else substitute one for another paper wrapping.

Spicy and hard to cook
The water tends to boil over and the noodles do not seem to cook well plus it is too spicy for my tastes

PLANT-BASED NOODLES: DOES NOT HAVE SAME CONSISTENCY AS CONVENTIONAL NOODLES
Here's my breakdown:*** the noodle recipe is where this entire dish falls short. ***1. The noodles do not hold up well when cooked according to the instructions. I cooked three packs according to the instructions and the noodles came out pasty and clumpy. When I added the sauce (which tastes great), it further broke down the noodles and made them inedible.2. The noodles do not hold up well when cooked the traditional way. Do not set a pot to boil and put these noodles in because they will become mush in a short amount of time. I tried this twice.3. The sauce is great! I added them to a different set of noodles and was completely satisfied with the dish. It's solely the noodles that I was disappointed with. I did this with my final pack.I've been a fan of the Kinjaz "ANBU Black Ops" set. Was a Kontributor in 2015. I continue to be a fan of their enterprise and wish them well. Suffice it to say I had high expectations for these noodles. I should have paid the same attention to detail that the Kinjaz put into their sets because I would have understood why the noodles didn't hit like I expected. Unless I received a poor batch of noodles (which I doubt because Kinjaz are professional af), I won't be purchasing this particular item again.- 1 star for the finished product- 1 star for the taste of the noodles- 1 star for the inaccurate instructions (assuming different instructions would result in a better finished product)- 1 star for multiple failed attempts to produce desired resultKinjaz, please re-evaluate the recipe for the noodles. I would love to support again if and when the recipe addresses the issues above.
