It's good and tastes like what you would buy from a stand. Personally, I feel like its a little too strong so I combine it with regular bubble tea mix. Very easy to use but I stir instead of shake because I bought a shaker bottle like they use and it broke at the cap due to the pressure and heat. Try doing like combinations of flavors. I can verify what other reviewers have said - You can buy this cheaper at bobastore.com, so if you want to try it, I recommend you purchase from there, unless you have preference to order through amazon specifically.I can't say I'm an expert on bubble tea, but I've enjoyed 2-3 from local shops almost every month for the last 2 years or so. At 4-5 dollars a pop, it adds up quick. Taro was one of my favorites, and is great mixed with just milk and no tea.This product is identical to the taro drinks I've enjoyed. It's purple (lavender?), super sweet, and smells delicious. In fact at 4 lbs, I recommend that you purchase this with a friend, unless you are running a business. I found that even with my thorough enjoyment of taro, it was too difficult to consume all of the taro powder I had without getting sick of it.But this stuff is the real deal. I've had bad taro from restaurants, and I can honestly say that this is the best taro powder I've had. I recommend getting some coconut powder/mix to go with it- Taro and Coconut are some of my favorite flavors to mix when I go to a bubble tea shop. It looks like it costs a lot, but if you consider how much you'll save not buying from the store - it's a no brainer.

This Taro milk tea powder is similar to the product used by many of the bubble tea shops I have visited. It contains powdered milk and non-dairy products (similar to powdered creamer), sugar, taro flavoring, and, of course, purple food coloring. For a single 8-12 oz serving, one should mix 3-4 teaspoons in a small amount of very hot water-otherwise it is hard to dissolve. Then add your cold tea, tapioca bubbles, and ice. This produces a nice, moderately sweet tea. If you want it sweeter, you would have to use a lot more mix-probably better to just add some sugar or honey. The product comes in a large foil bag. I would recommend keeping some in a tight fitting container and storing the rest in the original bag sealed in a zip-loc bag.PLEASE NOTE: Most milk teas, by their very nature, are not healthy. You should be aware that there are a lot of calories in that powder (listed as 340 per serving, about 140 from fat), and it's not unique to this particular brand. The only way to make a healthier version would be to find some purer taro extract and use it with low fat milk, I guess.As long as you know what you are getting though, this is a great product. If you are looking for what tea shops usually serve, this shouldn't disappoint.

I really want to like this but it’s either too sweet or not enough when you don’t get the powder to milk/water ratio correct.The flavor is pretty artificial. It kinda tastes like taro if you add your imagination to it.

Got it because I was really craving Taro. It is a big bag. I only used 2-6 tablespoons at a time depending on how big my drink was. You just have to play around with it. Milk taste a little better but not by much so its up to you on if you want to mix it with milk or not. Usually I dont because I am trying to save money. Another note is the powder likes to stay at the top. It is much more likely to mix if your drink is warm so try mixing it with hot milk or water.

This brand is way better than the Taro Blended Crème Mix by Angel Specialty Products that I also purchased to try and compare. It's creamy and tastes very yummy.

When you need your "Bubble Tea" fix without the drive, wait, or expense this stuff does the trick! It is great warm, cold,or frozen and the 4 lb bag goes a long way. I would recommend about 4 TBS per cup if you like it sweet. Also, its best to dissolve it in some warm milk or water before blending--it does not blend cold....at all. (word of caution: this is all sugar and artificial sweeteners so please be aware you get no nutritional value from this "Taro" drink--it is strictly a comfort drink)

I was initially sent incorrect product and the company would not fix the issue, however the seller was prompt at returning my email and promises to send me the correct tea this time, free of extra shipping charge. If things go as planned I will be happy with this company and product. I am concerned I might be re charged, but we will see. I know the actual TARO powder is great. I was sent the orange artificially coloured type black thai tea type drink by mistake is what I finally realized.five stars are for the TARO drink, not the one I accidentally got.
