The cutter spring is much too strong and the cutter heading combined with the pretruding cutter makes for a very, very tight fit. Placement in the pipe can be a challenge. Some WD40 helps. Once in place it will cut the pipe in a flash. Removing the cut-off piece can be difficult as there is no safe/secure way to retract the sharp cutter blade to allow the pipe to slide off the cutter head. A little additional engineering could make this a much easier and safer tool to use.
