Hi Mrs Evans, having lost weight I'm now a slim size 8 and have a S, they are quite slim fitting, although soft & stretchy, I would probably look towards an L for comfort

No they are not see through, they are very comfortable. I wear mine under blouses in the cooler months.

Do these make you sweat? I want to wear them instead of a bra under my clothes in summer?

They only have 39% cotton in them, so not sure of wearing under clothes in the summer. I bought them to wear under shirts for extra warmth. Also to wear in garden during warmer weather. They are very comfortable, I am 10/12 so ordered M. Love them will be ordering more.

Do these cover tthe bottom area ?

Not entirely, but they do come down quite low and are stretchy. I can comfortably layer it under another top (and it be seen) and have it around half way or so covering my bum. Maybe more if I tried, that's just my preference :)
