I purchased these alarms to give to each of my family members (ages ranging from 7 yrs to 62 yrs) at Christmas. The alarm sound is very loud, especially when 3 are going off at the same time! I purchased these in particular, because of the USB charging feature. I subtracted one star because I feel there should be, in addition to the wrist strap, a clip to attach the alarm to a purse or bag. If you attach by the ring - it pulls the alarm out. Attaching by the wrist strap is inconvenient. My daughter-in-law had hers attached to her purse, but the pull ring kept getting caught on shopping carts & setting off an ear-splitting alarm in the grocery store! Great little alarm.

Eagerly looked forward to receiving this before my daughter and family arrived as there has been a rash of purse snatching of ladies, elderly, and or disabled. My daughter was happy with it. I experienced several occasions of the loop attached to the pin got caught setting off a piercing siren. I fumbled searching for the pin, then fumbled finding the pin-hole to reinsert the pin to stop the soirée. Very . stressful. I would recommend a button to push and hold to sound the siren which stops when button is released..

Almost perfect... my only complaint is that the piece that you pull to set off the alarm can be removed a little to easy. The pin slips out with the smallest tug and the alarm blares... so handle with care.I am happy that the alarm is very loud and the greatest part is that the alarm is rechargeable. I had similar alarms in the past and once the battery died you needed to purchase another, I am happy to simply plug it in now.I have given to every woman in my immediate family and was so impressed that I ordered another batch and have also given to my inlaws.

The Safe Sound Personal Alarm was received on time and used as stocking stuffers for a couple of females in the family. Everyone was impressed with the loudness of the alarm and that it would continue to “sound” for an hour, if activated. I kept one for myself and still have two others for friends.
