Great...if you like a TON of CAFFEINE that somehow makes you sleepy and cranky.
This product was a disappointment from start to finish. I had really looked forward to trying this, but as soon as I pulled it out of the package, I checked the ingredients, and I was shocked.CAFFEINE??You can see from the screenshot I attached that both the description and the seller-provided image of the Supplement Facts had NO hint of caffeine as an added ingredient. To me, that is deceiving, deliberately omitting an ingredient like that from the description and from the pictured label. Has the formula changed? Then change the ad! Otherwise, it’s fraud, and it’s dangerous, should someone take it who has an allergy/sensitivity to caffeine. It gets worse. Caffeine is listed first in the “brain blend”, which means that caffeine makes up the largest portion of the blend. Since the blend is listed as 1.05 grams, and lists four ingredients, that means at least one-quarter of the 1.05 grams is caffeine, otherwise the caffeine couldn’t be higher than each of the other three ingredients. 1.05 grams is equivalent to 1050 milligrams, and 1/4 of that is 262.5 milligrams. So in order for caffeine to be the highest ingredient in the blend, it must be at least 263 milligrams. The typical cup of coffee contains 95 mg of caffeine. So the brain blend contains *at least* the equivalent of 2.76 cups of coffee. But even worse, since green tea contains 35-75 mg of caffeine already, this could be the equivalent of 3+ cups of coffee, depending on how many cups of green tea this supplement is equal to.I already drink coffee, I wanted green tea, not a caffeine supplement! Plus, I’m trying to give up coffee. Caffeine is bad for you if you have ADD/ADHD (seems good in the short term, but it’s bad in the long run, it’s NOT a healthy brain food). So I already wasn’t thrilled, but instead of returning it, I decided to try it. I figured I’d keep it as an “emergency” back up, for days when I didn’t have time for coffee or I was on the go. So the first day, I skipped my morning coffee (because God knows, you don’t want to take this AND coffee—holy crap!) and tried this instead.Nothing.No energy, no feeling of focus, clarity, or any other kind of boost. Worse, than that, I actually felt sleepy, worse than I’d usually feel if I hadn’t consumed any caffeine at all!Even so, I wanted to be fair to the product and give it another try. So the next time, I skipped my afternoon coffee (which I only have a few days a week, anyway) and took this supplement. Within 30-60 minutes, I completely crashed. I couldn’t stay awake, I was cranky and exhausted. This is around the time the caffeine *should* have kicked in. What the heck?I don’t know what’s in this stuff, but it’s not at all what I expected it to be. I’m actually concerned about what’s really in it, because I’ve never gotten *sleepier* from caffeine, and I don’t think green tea should give that reaction either. On top of that, I never got any sense of mental clarity, focus, energy, or any improvement at all, and I was watching for it.Even with the poor results, I admit there’s a chance I could have had a bad reaction to an ingredient. I’ve never had a bad reaction to any medication or supplement before, and I’m not generally a “sensitive” type, so that’s unlikely, but it’s always possible. Therefore, I’m giving Smart Matcha capsules two stars (I might have given them a generous three stars, had they not been deceiving in their description and product images). If I can summon the courage, I may try the product once or twice more, but I have real concerns about what’s really in this, so I’m not sure. If I do, I’ll update, and change the product rating accordingly. They do have a 100% money back guarantee, so if they honor that, at least you can get your money back. I got a big discount, so it's not worth my time. I'll probably try them once more, then toss them out.I did receive this at a discount in exchange for an honest review, but I'll always give you the real dirt, and include both the pros AND the cons of every item reviewed (as you can tell from this review). If the details and pictures I provided in this review have been of help to you in any way, would you please take a moment to click on the "helpful" button for me? Thanks!

Fact errors and makes me lethargic
I was kind of disappointed when I received this product because the nutrition facts were clearly mislabeled. The supplement facts on amazon listed that the only ingredients under "Matcha Brain Blend" are blueberry anthocyanins and bacopa monnieri. However, the product that I received had "caffine" which I'm assuming is caffeine and "L-thaenine" which I'm assuming is L-theanine. This was a huge turn off since I prefer that my supplements at least list and spell their ingredients accurately. I emailed the company regarding this, and I got a short answer stating that they had to add it to the list because of the naturally occurring caffeine and L-theanine content in the matcha. I just don't understand this because they had already listed the matcha content. Why would they also have to list the naturally occurring compounds in matcha under the brain blend formula? And why would they spell it wrong? They did not list caffine and L-thaenine in their Matcha Pro product. That's just not the kind of product that I want to be consuming on a regular basis.Despite my concerns about the safety of the ingredients, I decided to try the product anyway. I took two (instead of three just to be safe) in the morning after breakfast. I did not notice any benefits from taking the supplement. If anything, I felt kind of sleepy and lethargic all morning. The "effects" wore off around three in the afternoon. I'm not impressed and I really don't want to try the product again. There seem to be a lot of good reviews for this product. Maybe it just didn't work for me. However, I don't trust this product because of its negative effects and inaccurate, misspelled nutrition facts. I really hope they fix this. I received this product at a discount or for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

but they might not be all that good for you
I have been taking these for a while and i really havent seen much of a change. They claim "Nootropic Supplement for Clarity, Focus, and Energy.SmartMatcha is a natural "Nootropic", meaning that it was formulated to promote memory and cognition. The unique combination in this blend is meant to increase oxygen and circulation in the brain, as well as promoting healthy and energized brain cells and neurons."I do not notice any difference in my memory or clarity, I did not feel any huge caffeine buzz, or any more alert than usual.Even more unfortunately there is a error in the advertisement. In the ingredients on amazon it does not mention caffeine as an ingredient. When i looked on the bottle the first ingredient in the "brain blend" is "caffine" (which is caffeine). I do find it a little strange that this has such a high level of caffeine (including whatever is in the concentrated green tea part) and i felt none of it while taking these. I am very unsure of these. I want to continue to give them a chance, but they might not be all that good for you....Overall, I did not notice any changes or differences when taking these, and i wish they would update the ingredient list on amazon. That could be dangerous if the ingredients are not correctly listed. Sadly i do not think i will be purchasing these again.I did purchase this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. But this did not influence my opinion.
