Great Abu Garcia Revo S spinning reel! Love the black and white combination. I'd been using it for a few days fishing by the pier with my abu garcia veritas rod and its turn out so awesome easy and very smooth reel to control all day fishing. No issue at this time. I LOVE this reel!
I LOVE this reel. I started taking fishing seriously this year and bought this on the recommendation of a friend.Everything about it feels sturdy. The handle especially.But while maintaining sturdiness, somehow, they made the thing absolutely butter to use. I can use the tip of my pinky finger to reel in a fish on the line. I am amazed. Goodbye crappy reels.

I bought this for my son for his 18th birthday. I wanted to give him something he would have for many years to come. He absolutely loves it. I know nothing about fishing or reels, but my son has been an avid fisherman since he was very young and he was impressed with this reel.

Pleasantly surprised
I like that I thought I caught a fish which turned out to be a HUGE turtle, that was big enough to take on some Italian plumbers designed by the Japanese, but it fought the whole time. The reel held up well.
