It covers JL hardtop pretty neat. Corners do not match perfectly, but there is still no tension on the cover and it fits nicely

Great material, I would liken it to standard marine grade seat upholstry. If cared for properly, this cover should last as long as the hardtop itself.My top is kept outside during the summer so this cover made sense to me, no readjusting bungee's nor wind gusts flipping open a tarp.The only concern I have is the design of the "skirt". A previous reviewer mentions this does not completely cover the tailgate/rear glass portion of the hardtop and thats correct.By design, this cover has an elastic band that form fits to the top and sides, approx 3/4, of the glass. The front flap just hangs over, which leaves a wide enough gap for critters/insects looking for a place to cozy up. To mitigate this, I've tucked the flap in under the window threshold where the Bestop Cart has foam rubber padding. This doesn't seal it up completely, but adequate for me. DIY carts can likely account for this even better with a flush mating surface that the bottom edge can rest against.IMHO, the extra $100 your spending here is worth the (otherwise minor) inconveniences of using a tarp stored outside, if indeed turns out to be a one time purchase that lasts the life of the hardtop.

My garage is very dusty and I wanted to protect the top to my 4 door JK when I put the soft top on. It's made of heavy duty material and the corners are reinforced. It does not cover the back window. My concern is that it may scratch the painted top. I'll see in late fall.

Wish I would have bought this sooner. If you store a hard top, you must get a cover to protect it. This one is great.
