Nice little tree for my kitchen.

Excellent little tree suitable to put on your desk. Only two (slight) niggles. It's a little top heavy - that's solved by putting the battery control box in the pot at the base of the tree. I thought that there were too many lights for the size of tree - but that's a personal opinion. Would I buy one again? Definitely.

All in all, it's cute enough, actually stands and looks like a Christmas tree which is really all I need from it. So thumbs up from me for that.A couple of things to note though:The branches are not all the same and look like they come from two different tree species, which I'm not fussed about but if you're a keen arborist/snob it might bother you. But then again if that's you you're probably not buying a cheap artificial Christmas tree on Amazon. If you're into an artificial hybrid Christmas tree that is 3/4 fir and 1/4 pine, then this is absolutely the tree for you. If you like to live dangerously that is...The lights are a bit of a health and safety hazard. I used brand new AA batteries from a trusted brand and started hearing strange popping, hissing and creaking noises within minutes of switching them on. Upon inspecting the battery compartment I realised that this was the song of leaking AA batteries. In the end no one was hurt. If you are considering buying this for your child or elderly relatives though I'd encourage you to reconsider (unless you actually intend to cause harm).

Good size for table and looks good.

For the price, the tree isn't bad. The decorations are cute and the lights are great, but the tree itself is not sturdy at all. When I originally ordered it, the stem, which is attached to the vase the tree comes in, was snapped in half, meaning the tree wouldn't stay upright.After getting a refund and reordering the tree, it came in good condition, but the stem didn't even last till the end of the day. I eventually gave up and just kept the tree so I'd have one for Christmas, but I'm throwing it away now and wouldn't recommend getting it for your next holidays.

I bought this for my 4 year old’s bedroom and it didn’t disappoint- she loves it! I thought it came with a good variety of decorations and the number of lights (mine were white not coloured) was very generous for a small tree. I took heed from other reviews and weighed down the pot but the battery pack for the lights fitted in the pot so no need for the extra weight. I would happily buy this again in the future.
