Mod Pod Folding Reading Glasses - Opthalmic Quality - Super Thin, 1.50, Yellow

I was looking for a pair of folding glasses that I could keep in my jeans pocket to make it more convenient for use as needed. Unfortunately they do not fold up as small as I would like. The glasses fold to about 5 inches in length. I was actually wanting a pair to fold to 2 inches so the frames wouldn't stab me in my pocket. I am not into pain! However, the style...mod and "Star - Treky" is great. I like the fact that the glasses are narrow so can I can easily peer over the lens for distance viewing. So, though I seldom use the folding feature, and do not put them in my pocket, I like to use the glasses at home....when I can actually find them!

I am 47 and just had Lasik. I opted against the "Monovision" correction. My near vision was already worsening with glasses and I knew it would probably get slightly worse after the Lasik. I wanted a set of readers that I could take anywhere and didn't need a separate case. I like them quite a bit. The build is reasonable and I don't feel afraid to keep them in my pants pocket while folded (they do manage to get a little grungy but clean up easily.) I have a larger head and they are comfortable and don't feel like they are going to fall off even if I slide them forward on my nose. I will update this later once I have an idea of their durability.

No glasses case comes with it and it's difficult to find a case that fits. Most are too big.No way to hook the glasses on the collar / neck or pocket of a shirt because of the way the ear stems turn. They do not bend or fold. Only twist and turn to lay flat for storage. As a result the only thing you can do is either get a chain to hang around your neck or fold th,e up each and everything you have to put them on to read something. Would note have ordered them had I known this. Was not not part of the product description.The style is nice but that's all I can say positive.

Those menus and fine prints are no longer an issue with these things. And unlike most readers, the design is damage resistant in your pocket.

The Mod Pod Folding Reading Glasses are amazing. By far my favorite pair of reading glasses. They're stylish and extremely convenient. I am always getting compliments from strangers and when they see how they fold down into a small, almost pen-like size they're amazed. I only use glasses for reading so the low-profile lens are perfect. I can be browsing the internet using the glasses and glance up above the lens to watch TV. Yes, I multitask. I'm getting a few more pairs of these. So handy.

Love these reading glasses. Genius design with the arms. They fold up really small and take up hardly any room. Easy to slip into a shirt or pants pocket. I always get questions where I bought these. People always want to check them out when I pull them out of my pocket and wear them.

Love these...had a pair years ago and needed a stronger lens.They are perfect as an extra pair of readers to keep in yourpocket when going out. Surprisingly, the lens are of good qualityand the folding aspect is ingenious!

Everyone asks where I got these cool glasses. They fold neatly for a pocket and never get misshapen. One pair got a little stiff to open and a touch of WD40 on the hinge made them as good as new. Great glasses.
