Im an Old School Greaser head and I still comb my hair like one, even though I built my own real comb blade it was nice to see these still on the market for when I was a kid. It works well and I've had it for months, it only breaks if you mess with it too much, and since it is for "kids" it usually breaks early. But for the price it's well worth it.

Does what it says on the tin, makes a great toy or accessory at a fancy dress party but the build quality is quite cheap and shoddy. Not completely disappointed though.

The question I get the most from my boys is, "Mom, do you know where a comb is?" Even though they use them every day, they can't ever seem to keep up with them. A future archaeologist is going to dig in the remnants of my long-gone property and wonder if I was secretly running a comb factory.I bought each of my boys one of these combs as a combination gag/functional gift for Christmas. I thought maybe the novelty of the 'switch-blade' would help them keep up with their combs. The combs appear to be cheaply made, but they have stood up to the roughness of my boys (and more than one sword fight). The teeth of the combs are strong, but they are placed really close together. My boys have inherited my super-thick hair, so the combs are a little difficult for them to get through their hair, especially if it's wet.Great novelty, ok price, decent quality, but would work better for someone with very fine, thin hair. But, the boys don't keep up with these any better than they did boring combs. Oh, well.

My grandson needed it for a costume & he lived it!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. For the money, I was expecting a fairly decent gag gift for my father for Christmas (he has a mustache of Ron Swanson proportions) for a mustache comb. What I got was much better than expected. The spring action of the comb is quick and sturdy. There is even a button that will lock the comb so it won't try to spring open at the wrong moment. Great product, love how cheap it was!
