Essential!
My kids all say it clarifies things which were not entirely clear before. We have created our own weekly timetable and the kids do a few pages from a book everyday after school. Great learning aids!

Good, but could you lose the constant !!!! marks?
A very nice book, but I spend a long time with writing class students trying to control their urge to use exclamation marks everywhere. Then, for some odd reason, this author cannot get through a page without 2-6 of them, and really where they are not required. It reads rather childishly because of this and is extremely irritating.

Should increase the student's interest in history.
Aaron Wilkes knows how to teach history in a way that grabs the attention of the student and provides tools for historical analysis that used to only be initially taught at sixth form college in the U.K., and university in the U.S.. Familiarity with this analytical approaches will help the student not just during the History GCSE test, but also beyond while studying history as well as other subjects.
