Very nice and effective

I was excited to get this ordered. Having young children with a Jeep and having the sun beat down on them isn’t a good thing.Sadly Amazon rerouted my package and it took 10 days to get here instead of the usually 2 offered by Prime. Hey it happens so no biggie.On to the top itself.THE GOOD- It came packaged well and has a storage bag. It seems well made. I didn’t have any trouble installing it alone. It took maybe 10 mins. But I have a lifted Jeep with large step bars so I had plenty of space to stand on to work. The bungees are tight. They have to be to hold the top in place. I don’t know why people complain about that. It looks good on the Jeep.IT DOES NOT BLOCK OUT ALL THE SUN!!! But it’s NO SUPPOSED to. It’s made of mesh people. Use so common sense. I didn’t want all the sun blocked. Just enough so my children won’t burn. I’ve taken it on the highway already and it stays in place well.THE BAD- The middle front Velcro strap is off by about 1/2 inch. I can live with that. My guess it isn’t supposed to be that way. Mass production will have that happen.One of the rear grommets is missing so my guess is the stress and wind will eventually rip that hole out.I was one bungee short which I could live with as they are cheap and easy to get.But the missing grommet worries me so sadly I will return it and get an exchange. If the new one has no issues I will update my review to 5 stars.Update. I just put it on for its 2nd summer. I never did send it back because I’m lazy. It worked fine all summer even with the defect. For the price you can’t go wrong.

If you don't want to remove this when running the freedom panel, just unlatch the two balls on the hooks where the top locks in and don't use the two long screws into the top. That allows you to pop the freedom panels on and off in a flash while still being shielded from the sun. UV protection is great on this one as well. Would definitely buy again.

There were not any instructions included but was easy enough to figure out.Installed on my 2020 JT but it wasn’t really designed for it. I may try to install it from the bottom of the center roll bar so it won’t interfere with the hard top. As is, the freedom tops will not work. I believe I could also just fold the front back before putting the top back on.

The screen seemed to fit my Jeep JL, but the straps that came with it were far too small. 4 of the straps could only stretch to a few inches, which was not enough to fit around the frame, even at the door. None of the straps were large enough to fit around the center frame. I had to return it, but I wish it would have come with the right sized straps, because the shade itself seemed like it was good quality.

Updating my review.. the first initial item I received must've been defective as it did not fit. The seller tried to make it right and sent me another one. The second one fit a little better than the first. It still fits funny, but it is what it is. You get what you pay for. If you're wanting it to fit perfectly id still save my money and get one from quadratech. But if you're on a budget, then try this one out. You may luck out and get one that fits your jeep perfectly. The seller was understanding and was quick to try and resolve the issue.
