Marky SparkyFaux Bow 3 - Shoots Over 100 Feet - Foam Bow & Arrow Archery Set

My daughters (ages 2 and 4) recently saw Brave and wanted "a bow and arrows like Merida!" As a parent my first concern is always safety. The foam tips on these arrows give me that peace of mind. The bow itself is very easy to load and fire. My 4 year old can do it with ease but anyone younger may need some help and should be supervised. Storing the arrows right on the bow is very convenient. The price is comparable to other bow/arrow sets, though it is slightly higher. My only issue is the quality of the arrows. The body of the arrow is flimsy and though they haven't broken on us yet you can see clear creases forming that could eventually lead to a break.I have to admit there's something very satisfying about firing off one of these. Now if only it came with someone (else) to pick up the arrows after you've fired them all.

Son wanted a bow and arrow set. This works great. Love the big size arrow. The kids love to shot them in the air. Would buy again

Update: kudos again for Marky Sparky's customer service! The tube that the arrow loads onto cracked fairly early on, but it still shot impressively after applying some tape. It has now cracked all the way through, and won't stay in place with the tape anymore. It is a piece that simply screws on, so I emailed the company to see if they could send a replacement. Within 20 MINUTES they emailed me that they were sending the part! We have so much fun with these bows!Gift for my 8-yr-old son. We are ALL having a blast. Shoots really far, and it truly does mimic the feel of using a real bow. Broke on day 3 - a small plastic pin that holds the pull-back handle on snapped. Was able to take the bow apart and repair it with a snip of narrow copper rod (about a penny-worth). Contacted the company to let them know, and to suggest - since other reviewers have had the same problem - that they replace that piece with metal. Turns out they have already made that change, and the Faux Bow 4 (coming out next year?) will have a metal piece there. I was up front with them that we were able to repair ours, and they STILL sent us another - so now we have 2! Super fun.

My boys asked for a bow & arrow for Christmas! This was a great option, everyone in the house loves it!
