If there was ever a reason to hate apple even more, is replacing everything with USB-C port in their new laptops. I understand that they want to be the "market leaders" and "innovators" of computer technology but when the world has not even begun to make use of USB-C ports, it would be nice to provide us with a transition period. Give us some time to lub ourselves up instead of shoving it in us!As a professional designer the one thing I hate most is the fact that the field I work in worship apple, as a cult, as a religion, and totally disregard its faults, limitations and arrogance. This forced me to upgrade to the new macbook when my previous laptop became too old to function, which has forced me to retire ALL my WB harddrive cables and replace them with these ones. I had the apple doggle but by adding another connection between the harddrive and the laptop, it slows down the transfer and loading speed. Additionally, there is a much higher chance of disconnection with the doggle and it's the last thing you want to happen when transferring massive amount of files.So despite how much I hate Apple's USB-C dictatorship, I do like this cable because it is a perfect solution to the harddrive problem apple has caused.

Feels like a good quality well made item, the plugs fit snugly at both ends with no annoying disconnects during use. The cable is braided and feels durable.I haven’t noticed whether this cable performs better with my MacBook pro than a regular USB3 with USBC adapter plug, but it’s much easier and quicker to use when you do t have to search about for the adapter!

I ordered this cable as a short alternative of my Nikon DSLR long usb cable but when I connected to my phone doesn't do anything,I use my phone and my DSLR as a video bundle,the Nikon cable from the camera to my cellphone using usb to USB c adapter works great,when I connect this cable doesn't work...I cannot leave a bad review,I assume that my camera won't regnonize usb 3 cables?No idea

Absolute RUBBISH - works for a very short time before cable end FAILS - designed to look like an expensive one - and after the numer I bought they proved to be expensive as ther all in the bin.If it looks too good to be true - IT IS !!!
